Carlos Chavez my brother in law took me to coheed a year ago. Since then he said Coheed and TDH were his favorite bands. I love them now. He even has a song on spotify thats very influenced by both bands

People are into the shittiest music. These guys are unbelievable musicians, storytellers and writers (or at least he is) and people would rather buy imagine dragons, Mumford and sons or Beyonce songs for $1.29 on iTunes. People should really hear the dear hunter.

Hey these guys are great but Imagine Dragons are one of the few good bands on the radio. But Beyonce is definitely one of the most overrated artists of all time

It's not too realistic to view it as people choosing to listen to those bands over The Dear Hunter, because the three you listed are incredibly famous due to being promoted by major labels. The Dear Hunter chooses not to interact with the people in the music industry that care more about profit than the art itself, and therefore get minimal exposure. Casey has stated that he doesn't want to be that rich or famous either way. I also find your choices of "shitty artists" very questionable. As far as incredibly famous artists go the three you mention are very good. I mean, this is an industry where human trash like Chris Brown, Dr. Luke and Robin Thicke are allowed to have careers.
