CBS had the sloppiest editing for the so called "Tiffany network". The original scene had Meg reaching for Harry's hand but he refused and so she put her hand on his knee. A sterling example of a loving couple especially when harry looked checked out when she recounted her " low" moment. This interview was a debacle.

I doubt mm was ever depressed. If anything, she might feel frustrated and wildly angry when she doesn’t get what she wants which she might sell as ‘depression’. I’m sure that she threatened harry with unaliving herself that day of that event for whatever reason because harry looked really down in the dumps. And that threat which is a way of control and keeping her husband in check could also be the cause of her dilated pupils - she’s succeeded with the threat and I’m sure she’s continued with this method of control. (Seriously, my sister is like that and she’s even threatened to take her children with her and believe me, it is stressful for the family members). I’m hoping that some journalist with integrity will investigate this woman and call her out on all her deeds. So so sick of her being thrust into our waking moments.

As someone who was diagnoses with severe dépression you are right , no way she would want to go to a public event with cameras and people around , all what depressed people want to do is avoid social event and attention and just stay in bed .
"Strong independently minded women" are not swamped by thoughts of un-a-living themselves; part of being independent separates such people to the emotional attachment of negative feelings & moods & fears or helplessness leading to defeatism that lead to such a state of thinking.
My narc sister used to threaten su$$ide to her children!!! Every time she didn't get her way the children suffered this emotional abuse. I can well imagine this whole scenario.

The only time I heard H speak was when he mentioned the "first responders". That was way out in left field. It was after that when M did all the talking and put her hand on his leg to let him know he was done talking, don't say another word, this is my interview. And even then when asked the questions, M did not answer them directly, but came up with word salad where she starts a sentence and then changes course before she finishes it. She never says anything meaningful. WORST INTERVIEW EVER!!!
Strange, the programme was concern for the bereaved parents of children who tragically took their own lives as they were suffering from on-line bullying. Then Markle speaks not about her child losing its life to online bullying. But the fact she was going to end the life of her child, by her suicide. I can't see the correlation between a child's death from bullying and a child's death at the hands of its parent. Tragic v deliberate.

She blindsided Harry by talking about her thoughts of suicide. She is trying to make more trouble with his family because she knows if he goes back there, she is done. The fight with producers later was to try and convince Harry of her innocence, but I think he is seeing through her now.

You know it is so transparent what she was doing, when she said she didn’t think they CBS were gonna go there you could tell she was lying IMO as she talks really fast and almost whispers. I have figured that out a long time ago that her voice tone and speed changes when she is lying. Go back and see what I mean. Perhaps Harry didn’t know but she certainly did. She always gets other people to do her dirty work. Omid Scobie, books one and two, Spare, Misan Harriman, etc. the sugars, Bouzy the list goes on and on this way she can act all innocent. I sort of disagree that the question was on script. Apparently, Meghan threw a great strop at CBS at the end of the interview because of the unexpected line of questioning and Harry certainly gave Pauley a hateful look. The hand on the knee was to stop him from blurting something out.
I actually think the question was right on script, but there was backlash so she leaked the alleged screaming. I agree she wanted to garner sympathy and threw them under the bus. However, she is such an untalented actress she couldn’t hide her gloating. Who grins when talking about such a tough subject?
I think that the question was scripted. If you know narcissists, you realise that they will scream and shout over you doing something that they asked you to do.
