British airwarys boeing 777 - landing for long shot from flap down till reverse thrust - interesting to see the engine cover reflecting the view of gear down - landing was an another very smooth one - nice view of England.
Very nice.....the HD version actually made me feel like if i was sitting right there on that window seat :) .....well though i have been to LHR many times on window seat from ORD but this BA was my first ever experience always flew with AA and UAL to LHR ....really wanna take BA to LHR sometime....great video really liked it !
thanks - it was a great day and clear view that made me such a lovely landscape of UK as you saw - thanks for having such timing - and thanks for your words - do appreciate.
Very nice video!! I flew on the 777 for the first time this past February on EVA albeit it was the 777-300 with GE90s which I am quite partial to. I just love those massive and powerful engines.
fully agree with you - there are so many landmarks you can notice. of course each airport has different taste - some are nice in the forest and others are facing to the sea etc - Heathrow got an outstanding view when you approach from city area.
thank you - you are right - usually, captain or officers will give a weather and temperature of destination - thereafter captain will tell ''crew, be seated'' then, aircraft is approaching to the airport. that is a timing when i started to frame and shoot a view.
@ryojitokyo3636 You are very welcome...and i would really wanna say that your video is indeed one of its kind ...i have seen many many similar sort of videos out there but yours certainly has something about it which takes me away and makes me feel like if i am experiencing this all by myself :) ....and yes i would love to book a trip with BA surely for my upcoming trip....!
thanks - i am not a specialist of fly - however, as you can see from this video, this aircraft was passing over the City and went down without large turn to Heathrow - therefore i guess it came from the East to the West direction.
Good video, i would like to know is how come when i come back from holiday and in the announcement they always say what the outside temperature is but on most youtube vids they dont?
Bonito video.
thanks - i glued silicone rubbers on the face and each corners of camera body and push it a little hard to a corner of window of the aircraft when i take this and other videos. hope it will give you a some idea.
Mate watching that gear come down by looking at the reflection of the Engine was awesome! Epic view, perfect perspective! Loved it! Got a Take-off from Heathrow?
your approach was from the wrong way to see windsor castle. you flew over london, to see windsor castle you need to approach from slough and go over the m25 motorway. i think it has to do with what way the wind is blowing as to what way you land.
Thanks for sharing, nice video! I flew back to Heathrow from Narita via Dubai last summer.. I wanted to record it to view my home city from the air, but sadly it was a very stormy day when I arrived, so there wasn't much of a view and it was a pretty scary landing.
@glasswings21 - thank you for a great comment - indeed, BA's unusual seat arrangement will give you a view to see backward and naturally you can see a view like this video. I usually try to fly with Star Alliance but not for a London since their great seating for window side. suggest to try BA for next trip to have a nice view.
@boeingnerd77 - thanks - i did not remember - therefore, i checked with british airways website and found it must be 777-200 since their 777-300 does not have 4 class seating and RR trent engines.
@ryojitokyo3636 thanks! What's your next trip? I'm always so anxious to see your videos because I always want to know what my camera will look like on the plane lol
