Baalbek (Lebanon) Vacation Travel Video Guide 

Went to see Baalbeck in Dec. 1959, wth my father, who brought my sisters and me to see this remarkable place. I only remember something large and impressive, that made me think of the people, who created it, long ago. There was less grass and more stone that gave it the appearence of a city. It made me sad to think of the people , who lived there & worked there. All the stories lost of the lives and everyday occurrences that have not been recorded. Civilizations form , thrive & die. the people , who made it, shaped it were the life blood are gone. Their stories unknown for the most part. We, too, as our empires and countries crumble and disappear may have that fate or not, if our planet becomes uninhabitable.

In the team who made this temple, many people from India were called to build this temple and also Indian elephants.. Even now students of this country study this point in their history books.. I feel proud to be Indian..
