That thing he does with putting his fingers into the air to signal to the band how many breaks they had to do. That according to the members of The Revolution was the most difficult thing ever because you needed to be on your toes every frigging second. In fact, a year later, after Prince disbanded The Revolution and started The New Power Generation, there was an instance of the band about to get on stage for their very first show and bass player Levi Seacer Jr. going "Good luck everybody!" But just after he said it, Prince shot him a pissed off glare and shouted "HAVEN'T I WORKED YOU GUYS HARD ENOUGH ALREADY?" At which the others went "Yeah you worked us to death!" recalling daily rehearsals of eight hours for months on end. At which Prince continued "SO YOU KNOW THAT THERE'S NO LUCK INVOLVED IN GETTING THIS SHOW TO GO RIGHT!"

Prince shows were not comparable to any you've ever seen. And he had so many songs to do most of his shows were damn near 3 hrs long. He never had an opening act either💜👑

You guys missed out seeing the 80s Prince. He pushed the envelope & he could get away with it. His stuff was sexy, sensual & dirty & I LOVED it 😝

Head is the song that made his original piano player Gayle Chapman to quit. She said, "I don't mind doing it but I don't want to sing about it." Maybe the BEST thing that happened to Prince as that lead to Lisa joining and she brought Wendy!
