Prince wrote and produced (even played the music on the records) for The Time. The music is all part of his catalogue.

If you listen to Play In The Sunshine on Sign of the Times album,Prince says “The color green will make your best friend leave you,It’ll make you do the walk” jab at Morris.

We went to Vegas in April 2024, and wanted to see a show , and we heard about this show called “ Purple Reign “ that was a Prince impersonator, so we all got tickets , and we all thought it was gonna be so bad and and cheesy, but it was actually pretty good! The guy that played Prince could sing and play guitar, his band was just as good , and his band also backed up two guys that played Morris and Jerome, and they were pretty good too! They had 3 guys playing Vanity/ Apples 6 , but they were just ok. But we really had a good time and throughly it was worth the money. If you go to Vegas , the show used to be at the Tropicana , which is currently being torn down, so now it is at Planet Hollywood in the “ V Theater “ . There is a preview of the show on RU-vid.

The S.O.S. Band - Their work with The S.O.S. Band was their most prominent project in 1983. They produced and wrote several hits for the band, including "Just Be Good to Me," which became a massive success and established their reputation as top-notch producers. Klymaxx - Around this time, they were beginning to work with Klymaxx. While their most significant contributions to Klymaxx's music would come a bit later, they were involved in the production of some of their earlier tracks. Change - Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis worked with the Italian-American group Change, contributing to their album Change of Heart, which was released in 1984. Their involvement in this project likely began in late 1983.
