Thanks for the video. Are you able to do a video on extended length racquets, what you think of 'em in general, perhaps specify what you think is a good one? Also have you ever carried out your own customisation to extend a racquet? Thanks and keep up the great work, keep the videos coming!
@Rayan Cairo your "Ground Floor Slab" Instagram account suck though, don't know why you need to hack your own stupid account. Where is "google enjoy"? Is on the ground floor?
LOVE LOVE this frame. Just wish I could be consistent on it. Massive spin and power (so much fun) but I get too wild with it into the 2nd set. I had better luck on Pure Drive but wighted up a Wilson Blade to 340 grams and is a winner for my game.
I mistakingly bought the ‘Team’. As you said, they look the same. It’s too lite. What’s the best way to add weight to it? Weight to the butt/handle or lead to the head?
I like the Babolat AeroPro Drive 2013 but I don't like the Pure Aero 2017 & 2019 rackets. Problem is that APD is not available anymore. Can you recommend the best alternatives to APD 2013 from currently available rackets?
I demoed the Pure Aero team but I preferred overall the Pure Drive Team which is one of the best 285g racquets. Better than the PureAero Team. But in Pure Aero line, the regular one is nice. I largely prefer the regular one to the Team. But if it's too heavy go for the Pure Drive or Pure Drive Team which is very powerful and versatile ;-). Or try mine : the Ezone 100L which I absolutely love. A bit more control and touch compared to the Pure Drive Team but still powerful and stable enough such as the PDT 👍
One thing I like about Babalot is their naming system with their raquet lines, and the fact that there is really three main lines. Other companies (like HEAD) too many weird adjectives and trying to make a unuquecpaint job for every pro that gets camera time.
Lol!! You make me laugh each time, I love the banana nickname for the PureAero 🤣🤣🤣. Lots of people complained about the increased swingweight with the PureAero (previous one) and find it tiring compared to other racquets such as Pure Drive which is less demanding. How is your opinion? I would love if you compare Babolat racquets to Yonex please.
I was pleasantly surprised by the naerly 11 oz pure aero spin racquet when I used it to hit a few balls. It handled well and swung great to create nice top spin with the open string bed. I am not accustomed to it's more head heavy condition compared to my older 10 pt head light prostaff. But, I adjusted to it quickly and enjoyed the hitting experience. It has changed my opinion about the racquet to a positive one.
Hi Tennis Spin, I love your review on the pure aero line. I added 3.62gm at 12 o clock on the PA Plus. Do you have any idea what is the new swing weight? Just in case you are wondering why I ask, my local tennis shop ( Singapore ) is shut at this time. Thanks a a lot
Can someone tell me why the newer Pure Aero rackets have these pimples on the sides inner sides of the hoops? And why they are on the side only, not also on the top and bottom? I saw on Tennis Warehouse forum that Babalot says it is to make it harder to counterfeit the the rackets..... not sure if I buy that reason......and I don't buy that the pimples make it go through the air with less resistance.....
Just got my hands on the original Aero pro drive. Apparently it’s the version Rafa still uses. How does it compare to the newer versions? Heard it’s a bit stiffer.
DanTuber heard it on another channel that reviews old and new racquets. It is a known thing that the pro’s don’t actually use the racquets in their respective paint jobs hence why they have changed the wording on the promo to ‘endorses’.
I went to a "Play it again sports" and found a nice Babolot Areo Storm Tour and I love the thing. Is there anything in the Babolot line now that is similar to that racquet?
I have one of the yellow banana racquets and mine says 7 pts head light on the frame? Do you know if this is some kind of different version? I have looked through all the different specs for the 2019 pure aeros and none of them say 7 pts head light.
Love your channel! Honest, down to earth opinion and commentary. I wonder if you can help me with a problem. Somone wants to buy my 2013 APD (yes, with the cortex). Can you point to how I can price it up? It is well used, but still quite in demand I hear. Thanks - keep up the good work - From UK.
Hi, I love your channel and thank you for your insights. I have a random question and wondering if you can help me with it. My 6 year old's Wilson Pro Staff 26" racquet needs to have the strings replaced. The strings on it came with the racquet and he had played with it for the past 4 months. I am thinking thinnest gauge multifilament (maybe 18 gauge) at 58 lbs. Recommended tension range is 48 to 58lbs. He plays 4 times a week with yellow balls. Any advice on junior string and tension?
With your knowledge of tennis rackets it would be extremely interesting to have a review of the last 30 years of racket development, where you pick the most important innovations and biggest sellers over the years with some background to the reasons. This review would cover what performance dimensions of rackets have been most important over time, as for instance shock dampening, stiffness etc.
My 12 yr son (5ft 5, 115 lbs, intermediate) is looking to transition to his first adult racket. You mentioned the lite version. His tennis coach recommended going with the team, but I am now wondering if it might be too heavy. I am going to demo some, but I am afraid he might gravitate to the lighter because it's more easier to swing, but not necessarily better for his development. Any insights?
@@TennisSpin Thanks for the reply. Love your videos, very clear and informative. We going to demo a couple of rackets and see which my son likes best. Then we have to pick the string(s), but I see you have a couple of videos on that too. Keep up the good work!
Can u do the head radical graphene jr with all the other graphene jr pls cause I’m small and I wanna see what’s the difference to the other pros and mp
Ciao tennis spin, i rally enjoy watching your video you are very professionalfriend to me😉.. I play with speed mp 360 with lynx edge 1.25 but i decid to switch to BANANA 🍌 to add more spin on my game... would you suggest a strig to use with 🍌 banana racquet? Thanks Man.
Calling it a "teenager's" or "women's" racquet is actually (broadly*) helpful. If someone told that to my teammate who is 25yrs old, 6' 2"/190cm and fairly well built that his 8.8oz/250g unstrung racquet with a 107sq in face was a "teenager's" or "women's" racquet, he might not have picked it. It pains me to see him unable to take shots with moderate heft & pace, particularly since he has ~10 years of tennis experience under his belt. * Racquet recommendations should really be pairing people's body builds to a racquet that complements their physical attributes, so obviously there are exceptions, like someone in the WTA or an advanced teenager who's well built with good stroke mechanics should be using a heftier racquet with smaller headsize etc. That said, as a small person with a small build, you'll never pry my hefty ProStaff 90 from my hands, even if my stringer tells me I won't play my best tennis with it :P.
Go watch tennis warehouse review, pretty spot on. Feel is similar to pre-countervail blade. Good frame, new one should launch hopefully within six months.
Funny to me that he frequently mentions that he likes racquets that have great feel of the ball yet he uses the Wilson Clash Tour, which in my opinion has none.
Fantastic Review. Loved it, well spoken. Seriously, if you watch any primate "who eat a lot of them" they will go the shorter end. The bananas that is.😁
+Tennis Spin yet another great video. You’ve shown how Yonex QC is pretty clutch, and how Wilson and Babolat are ridiculously off. Would be interested in seeing a couple of Heads being tested. Personal request: if you could get a couple of Gravity Tours/Pros to measure, I’d think you’d be surprised how many Tours end up having SW just like the Gravity Pro, which is usually too much for people buying a 305g frame. Happened to me ☹️
Have come to listen to your racquet knowledge for some time. I have come back to listening to the review. You have been partial due to the fact you never mentioned the Pure Aero Tour racquet. Also you have miss spoke in calling this racquet the pure drive . Your favorite string review is good but there is much more strings besides the polyester strings that are available. So why not review these strings for people that prefer or use this type of strings. Continue passing the knowledge 👌
