Sarah saying she is no longer into click baiting and video name starts with "baby N 6" 😅 Saying this from a place of love, I actually do love her content but I found this statement funny 😂
Sarah, I've been watching your content on RU-vid for years and let me tell you, you're my favorite content creator, always staying real and raw with your followers🥰May God bless you and your family💝
Thank you for inspiring us. I healed my wrist and knee pain by cutting out gluten. Since then I have no inflammation and do sport like I was 14 again. I stopped all bread making and got gluten free bread from superstore (millet and grain) and have lots of grass fed beef/stew. For my gut.
Hey I think your video cut off at the end. Also, I have a question - in this economy, how do you make finances work if you and Kieran are both working from home doing this RU-vid channel?
sponsoring like in this videos, patreon, adds on her videos that people have to watch and she also has Instagram were she has sponsorships and she probably still makes money from people rewatching her old videos.
Literally by us watching, she's making an income with the ADs that pop up, so that's passive income, along with all the other things she advertises and the code's she puts in videos, those are also side income as affiliate marketing. If we buy anything from her Amazon she gets a kickback. Pateron is a monthly income too. I'm sure there are other ways, but those are the first ones that pop in my head.
I really wish you would do the castor oil wraps for your wrist and knee problems. When i sprain my wrists, i always do this and within 24 hrs it already feels better. ❤
I have been watching Sarah for many years now and I love going back and watching her older videos. She has given a lot of great advice over the years. I love her wife talks and minimalism videos. And for anyone who is curious, Sarah is an ISFJ. Much love from the UK 🇬🇧
Cute bangs! I love watching your videos. They are so inspiring and they make me look forward to being a wife and a homeschool mama one day. ❤ Much love from the USA 🇺🇸
I would LOVE to know approx how long it takes to follow the full Memoria Press daily schedule each day for the particular grades that you are currently teaching
I find the new year is the worst time for goals motivation and starting things I live in Canada and it’s the start of the coldest part of the year so no way it feels motivating lol
Genuine question, where are your kids when you're filming a chat like this?? I love these videos as it feels like chatting to a friend but I kept expecting you to be interrupted like I am with my real friends haha!
I absolutely love you. I enjoy your channel, and enjoy seeing the light of Jesus shine through you. You encourage me so much, during a very dark time in my life recently. Binge watching your videos helped me so much, so thank you.
I agree with the content. I have been doing that too. Honestly, by the request of viewers. I do not have a ton of subscribers. But, I would rather put up content that is loved rather than content that is flashy. Good Christian content is hard to find for sure
Saying that most schooling is “babysitting” is not just ignorant and incorrect, it is offensive and insulting to the majority of educators, including myself who are very dedicated and invested in the real, interesting, deep, and stimulating work/play of educating our students. You really shouldn’t speak to things you have literally zero experience with. It reveals your narrowness and bigotry in a glaring way.
That was so disrespectful 🤯!!! I couldn't believe she could state something like this so easily and with such self-assurance! I found most of her comments very condescending in this video! I just can't understand all these positive comments in such a distateful video... Edit: also, since when aren't ants animal?!! 😜
Just so you know, and speaking for the public system, any teacher who describes what they do as babysitting isn't a very good teacher. There is significantly more to it than that.
Exactly. She might be talking to the wrong teachers because every teacher I’ve known, myself included, is stretched to the limit with the amount of work that goes into teaching. High school teaching in particular is VERY demanding and hands-on. her comment on this seems really insulting and I’m sad that she thinks I just ‘babysit’ 🫤 I agree with Sarah on 99% of things but this was just really disappointing
It SHOULD be more than that but teachers all over the western world are so stretched with the amount of children in each class and all the other pressures on them that it seems that it’s hard to do more than babysitting. I had so many friends that were teaching and every single one has left within 10 years. I would love to send my kids to school, but this is the thing that would make me reconsider!
Really enjoy your vydeos Sarah! Although sad to hear the comment about “clickbait” considering that’s how many if not most of us found your old channel :) Also “baby #6” is sort of clickbait :)
I would loooove to see more Tipps on how to raise children. Like what you shared about how you did everything on the floor when Calvin Was Born so that ivy did not feel left out. I also still remember once you said the rule "we only scream when we are in dangour". I just love your way of raising Kids. Would love to learn more.
Please don’t delete your old videos 😭 i still watch them and they are so comforting to me on hard days!! I’m getting married soon and i look up to you so much as a Mumma and wife/homemaker
Also "ant is not an animal"? What?😅 Insects are a part of the animal kingdom. If you divide to fauna, flora and funga, the ant definitely belongs to fauna.
@SarahThereseCo Ants are in fact animals, Kingdom "Animalia," the Phylum "Arthropoda", the Class "Hexapoda", the Order "Hymenoptera" (includes bees, wasps, and ants), and the Family "Formicidae". So, you go ahead and get you that ant farm. :)
If the person who told you that most of the time kids are in school, they are being babysat is a teacher, they should be fired. From the moment children walk into school until they leave, they are learning. They are learning to navigate social situations, they are learning from the print that surrounds them, they are learning decision making and choice making. Teachers also go through at least six years of higher education to be able to do what they do. The fact that you don't sound very educated when you speak about education does not do much for your defense of homeschooling.
I wanna know what teachers would call themselves babysitters. They're either in the wrong field or in the wrong district. Most teachers I know, especially in elementary school, say they are constantly moving, teaching, testing, etc.
And particularly in private schools, there’s no way teachers can get away with babysitting and not teaching. Parents who pay for private school watch like a hawk that their kids are learning, because otherwise their money is going down the drain
I don’t think that it’s meant as saying the teachers are lazy or not working, but with very young students especially that a lot of the time gets passed with where there isn’t actual schoolwork/learning being done. Which is to be expected with a room full of students and school full of classrooms. So it does kinda end up being similar to “babysitting” at times. Like consider the breaks, snack times, lunch, recess, even waiting in lines etc. those are necessary, but with homeschooling, you are able to get through the curriculum quickly and efficiently. Then there is more time for parent/sibling interaction and possibly doing field trips and valuable real life experiences. No disrespect to school teachers. I think most of them are truly doing their best inside the school system and it’s not an easy thing to do.
@@linila1 I was homeschooled (also did co-ops) through 8th grade and then when to a private high school. Both were good experiences, but we definitely wasted a lot of time in high school classrooms due to poor curriculum/unprepared teachers… not every class, but definitely more than I expected. I do plan to homeschool my children when the time comes.
As a young-ish mama of 4 who is still grieving the fact that I can’t have more kids hearing a young mama talk about being done, not wanting more and enjoying the older ages so much is SO reassuring. Thank you for being so open and honest. A video all about homeschool, curriculum you loved/hated, types of learners your kids are, homeschool older kids and younger ones at the same time, etc. would be sooo helpful!
@@meippoliti this is amazing!! Thank you! We’ve been doing “teach your child to read in 100 easy lessons” and using Math with Confidence Kindergarten for my almost 5 year old and she loves both! But I want to add history and religion (but our Catholic catechism starts at grade 1) so just basic bible stories probably for now haha. Thanks again for the suggestions!!
I feel like it would be amazing if u did a homemaking video on creating a positive space that irradiates happiness, love and faith! Maybe even an organize with me video. Apart of homemaking is making ur home function for you in all chapters of your life. If there is ever a time you feel like your space is no longer serving you, could u do a video on how you evaluate the servitude of ur house and how u go abt changing things around when necessary
I feel like you’re slowly shifting back to your old content way of talking to the camera. I dont see anything wrong with it, in fact, I love it. But it kinda defeats the purpose of starting a new channel i’d feel like?
I really don’t understand why having 1 car is counted as minimalism 😂 I would saying having 2 would be excessive as you are both home nearly everyday, neither drives to work or to school and you have never really mentioned the kids doing sports or activities that would need driving to other than church which you go to together…
Phew. I stopped watching you when you left RU-vid because Instagram just isn’t my thing. This is the first video I’ve watched since you’ve been back. And it’s definitely different. It feels very rushed. Straight to the point, busy. I loved your old videos where it felt like you weren’t just trying to get through a list of things to say/do in a video. I do recognize that you have several more kids now and that being rushed and busy is simply life for you right now. My prayer for you is that you’re able to find some time to slow down here and there and take a breath. As a new mom myself, this can be extremely hard to do. But it’s so important for us to take care of ourselves too.❤️
Could you make a video for us about living in BC and the finances.? It's such an expensive province but some want to move there from a cheaper province and wonder if it's wise or not.
Nope. Don’t delete those OG. God’s gift to us. I have been a subscriber since 2019, hugs from Mozambique Sarah. Mozambiqueeee see how far you have reached? ❤
Ummm hello with the honesty! Thank you so refreshing. My husband was really hands on the baby stage now finally at age 2 I am picking up the slack and diving fully into these toddler years that are my favorite. Didn’t know I wasn’t alone.
I agree that kids are so much fun at about 3 or 4. Teen years are my favorite (I have two teens and a baby, been married nearly 20 years). I love having pops of color in my home here and there. As a minimalist, most expect me to have a fully white home, but I always have colorful curtains or plants or my handmade quilts. It was fun to listen to you talk while you were making your food. I don't think I have heard of "Memorial Press" was it you said? Must be a newer one! That's cool you were a homeschooled kid, as was your husband. That makes it easier to relate to them in that mode then too. What type of dance did you want to pursue as a kid? You must be "allergic" to clutter like me.
I don’t understand how people can enjoy the baby stage. I am pregnant and trying to figure out what survival tools I’m going to need. #1 was a very difficult baby and he is still a handful as a toddler. Having KIDS seems like it will be more fun. Total opposite of what I originally thought before having kids.
My First was (is) also really intense, screamend 4+hours as a baby for 4+months, woke multiple times a night for yeeears...with her, the First year was survival and the 2-3 was a Dream, due to rapid language development and communication Just being easier. My second baby Is such a Happy darling baby, every day I feel like crying knowing I have one less day with her this young. Guess she'll be more of a handful later potentially? Don't know, but I an enjoying the crP out of it!!❤
I would love to know if you or your husband are getting fixed permanently or if you are getting an IUD or arm paraguard. i have an IUD and it lasts 5 years.
I LITERALLY decided to do minimal closets for my kids, and right away I thought “ ohhh I bet Sarah has a bunch of info on that “ and you did !!! Lol ! Please don’t delete ❤ maybe the super personal ones, that are too vulnerable for you of course do what you want of course, but I am really appreciating those minimal and home videos ! 😊
I would say if you are having knee and wrist issues it’s most likely just inflammation. Sugar, wheat and dairy are the main culprits. I had the same problem and once I cut those things the pain went with it🙏🏼
If they made a movie, Milly Alcock should play you. Omg you guys are like twins! Just google her. I know you probably wouldn’t have watched house of dragon, but the first episode I saw her face and I was like…no way…she looks just like a RU-vidr I listen to while I’m cleaning.
I have a homeschool center. Believe me, i don't babysit. We work, and by we i mean the children and me. I have kids Gr R till Gr12. I have 2 more tutors. It is hard work and NO babysitting.
How long did you breastfeed your son for? I am going on almost 6 months with my son but I am debating on quitting. I feel as if though my time is done and yeah almost feel at peace with the decision. Breastfeeding is HARD !
Thank you for your honesty. We have two kids so far. And I always wonder if there's anyone else out there who wants a lot of kids but doesn't love the baby time 😅 I'm agree that it just starts to get more fun as they grow up.
I had mommy wrist as well that made it hard to do anything.. after the hand therapy and wrist brace didnt help i got a cortizone shot and now its 100% 😊
Just a simple hair comb. You put them with the teeth in your hand right under the knuckles and close the hand. It gives sort of acupressure. I used it as well and liked it a lot and will be using it again when I give birth to our no. 2. Thanks for the reminder!
@@EmeryShaeants are classified under the biological kingdom of animalia and more specifically under classifcation order the class of insects anyway that still makes them animals
I often say to myself “homeschooling seems okay when they’re young, but what about when they hit middle school or high school? Can a parent really educate on a high school level, even with pre-made curriculum?” My honest thought is no way. But I could be wrong so….
I think she just meant she didn’t think that was the intention of the question. Just like people think of squash when cooking as a “veggie” but we all know they are fruits, an ant is not thought of as an animal socially though it is one
