You know what makes you different from the other cook vlogs? You’re very genuine, walang pang eeme, totoo naman di lahat may kayang masundan yung sobrang tagal na process ... di naman lahat afford ang papalit palit na gas no hahaha ang mahal kaya... thank you chef more power to you...

I love how you explain things in the simplest manner. I loved your video the moment I was watching it. I’m gonna try this right now for our dinner. Thank you and will try more of your dishes. Keep cooking and inspiring us all!
Hi @Chef RV Manabat! Of all the many chef’s I have watched on socmedia or even on mainstream, you’re the only one who made me buy the ingredients of a recipe right on the next day. Thank you for the inspiration, I have never felt this motivated ‘til this day. I love that passion you put to your craft, that obviously exudes to your recipes. I like that frankness, your wit, your body languages, your true-to-life experiences... not to mention those “hugot”moments that only us Pinoys can relate 😂. I also love seeing your Le Creuset pieces; and your smart tips and cooking secrets that push us more to pursue cooking as a profession. Please don’t tire on sending us more positivities, more fun show, and practical but yummy recipes, and hope you will stay as you are even when you already become one of those shining stars of this generation. Keep safe, and God bless always! 🥰❤️
Chef RV is like the one who is from a cooking prophecy. Definitely only once in a lifetime. Napaka clear at andaling intindihin ng tinuturo nya. Di din boring yung boses nya. The best among the rest. -di ako marunong magluto pero after watching just one video... Parang expert nako without even trying
Your kind of cooking always makes me realize that good food is not necessarily expensive. I love the way you offer other suggestions for ingredients that are readily available in one’s kitchen. Thank you Chef RV for sharing your nutritious wisdom to us. God bless and stay safe!

I totally agree with you.
This recipe is perfect for our Filipino taste! The turmeric powder is such a great idea, I never thought of putting that! Definitely making this tonight, but instead of the coleslaw I'll match it with kale-apples-pecan salad. Thanks for the inspiration!
1 cup of soy sauce 1 cup of tomato ketchup 1 cup of pineapple juice 1/2 cup of minced garlic 1 tbsp black pepper 1 cup brown sugar 1 tsp of salt 1 tbsp curry powder
Hi po! Tnx for the list of ing for this recipe. I’m just wondering if we need to add water for slow cooking in an ordinary pan, i mean no grill and pressure cooker?...

Thank you so much. I have tried this recipe twice and it's the best. For me it tastes just like the ones from Bigby's but my husband said that it's so much better. for the people asking how much curry powder to put I placed about just the same amout as the salt. or you can just taste the mixture and adjust it as you like as long as you did not place the meat in advance.
Chef RV , I followed and tried your recipe. It's the perfect backribs dish I've ever cook. Its the most requested meal of my family when they plan to visit. t💓
Wow! I have seen a lot of your cooking/baking vids and have never tried your recipes (yet) but I am amazed at how great of a person you are sharing your most kept cooking secrets with the rest of us. As usual, this recipe looks and tastes fab. Will def try it. All the best chef! 🥂

Thank you so much for your recipe chef! I tried it today for fathers day and my whole family loved it! I also made your chocolate moist cake for dessert it was perfect! ❤️ I just brought your two books and looking forward for more recipes and techniques! Godbless you chef RV!
Hi when i cooked this recipe my oven's temperature is 400° F for 30 mins and i lowered the temp to 350°F for another 30mins. Hope this helps. God Bless! Keep Safe and Healthy!
@@alyssaalyannatengco9004 Did you pressure cooked the ribs first then baked it or you cooked in oven first then grilled it? And how much curry powder you use?
@@alyssaalyannatengco9004 it did not dry out when you boiled it or did you add some water to it? Also why did you have to cook it in the oven if you already slow boiled it?. Didn't it over cook the meat?
@@icedragon4157 no it did not. And i did not add water i baked it because i wanted it to dry out a little bit and for the ribs to absorb all the flavor before grilling.
Frequently asked questions: How much amount of curry powder: 1 tsp (this is accdg. to viewers who already tried the recipe) Option for Cooking the ribs: Stove top cooking on low heat: 1.5- 2 hours In oven: 400F for 30 minutes and another 30 minutes for 350F Pressure cooker: 45 minutes Alpine milk: you can also use evaporated milk (accdg. to viewers) Do you need to put water if using pressure cooker? - I do not think water is necessary. I cooked mine in the over, There are lots of gravy (liquids) from the mixture - so I don't think water is still needed under pressure cooker.
