Sooo excited to welcome the Pit Barrel Cooker into the family. First cook, baby back ribs. Seasoned the night before and cooked for 2hrs then glazed one rack with some bbq sauce. 2 1/2 hrs total cook time. Everything I look for in a rib: moist, tender, and flavorful!

Good looking baby backs and nice smoker. I see a lot of people buying that Pit Barrel and they really like it. Thanks for serving in the Air Force!

Thank you, MCPOTUS79! I really appreciate that. Always nice when you can have great BBQ AND your team shows up. I'm loving the PBC so far; you should get one.

To avoid burnt ends, cut the racks in half and hang each half from its' own hook.

I'll have to try that next time. Thank you Dick Laurey

I cooked them cut in half on the PBC, but the cook took a lot longer than expected this time. I'm guessing because the ribs were further away from the heat

Approximately halfway thru the cook I pull ribs out and switch the hooks to the opposite end of the ribs.
