The first video was about choosing the fibers to fit the requirements of a baby blanket. Machine wash and dry, easy on mom and babe. Then we spun and swatched (not squatched) a bit, only to find that the really pretty Sky Ladder by Anne Hanson, was a risky selection in that the yarn might be too competitive with the stitch work. Sigh. Decision made to go plain knit/purl stockinette. Blend, spin, knit, soak, dry. Done.
The little painting in the kitchen is "Cape Fear River Bridge" by Robert Morin Isley from Savannah, GA. Great painter!!
