Cuckoo! Coup within nest. Cuckoo chick born several hours earlier in the host's nest. Cuckoo eats food from its host bird and accumulates power. About 12 hours later ... Revolt of the baby cuckoo begins.
Thanks for the high definition video! I have watched lots of bad baby cuckoo birds done this kind of murdering thing.😤 Still surprised how it be placed in their DNA! 😈 And why the adopted mom didn't react to it?!😓
I used to tell myself that "Every animal, no matter how vicious, was a baby once." Turns out some animals are little bastards the moment they come into being.
Yeah i dont like this bird is parasitic and evil from the get go... when you being an asshole is straight up coded in youre dna i dont think anyone would miss you if you gonne extint.
This is the nature's proof that not all living beings can coexist and live a happy and healthy life together.. humen should learn from cuckoos and start defending themselves!
It's not evil because nature does not have morals that dictate good and evil. Only humans have the self-imposed illusion of good and evil. For nature it is simply about survival.
Most of you people are sick im disgusted at "SOME" of your comments but this world we live in is cruel, dont expect this world to last long at this rate
That has nothing to do with the video, humans🤨? I want to know how this is related to human what are you trying to convey😕? Human abandoning their kids and letting someone else raise them🤔? Tf are you talking about like genuine what are you trying to get at😐. Don't worry I think I understand now (not really)
Cuckoo eggs are able to adapt their color to blend in with real eggs (depending on the 2/3 species usually parasitized by the cuckoo, but only them), and the chick is able to produce sounds that confuse the parents. I remember this from a documentary
@@Dante-vf4sd What a nice double standtarts you have here. Baby birds have to eat insects and worms to fully develop - therefore, they are no better than one which thrown them from the nest. And, applying your logic, dogs, birds of prey, cats, and humans (and a lot of other animals and even plants - even horses and sheep sometimes eat other animals) are all complete bastards, because they have to kill others to live.
Brood parasitism has always fascinated me, especially obligatory brood parasites, I wonder if the babies of the host species will ever evolve a defense
It's co-evolution, so when a defense is found, the cuckoo finds a new strategy. Also note that if the cuckoo baby bird is rejected from the nest, the cuckoo will attack the mother and the little birds in the nest. Why? To prevent the anti-cuckoo genes from spreading.
because just as cuckoo eggs are able to adapt their color to blend in with real eggs (depending on the 2/3 species usually parasitized by the cuckoo), so the chick is able to produce sounds that confuse the parents. I remember this from a documentary
Kinda funny to think, that against old tolds ravens and crows are remarkably good parents. They defend their youngsters even against bigger hawks and falcons. And additional ravens are bond for life with their partners. And than there're cuckoos..
💥💥Brother, don't worship a stone. You make a stone with your hand, don't worship this trap by God, don't worship idols. A tree worships a trap that worships a trap rat that worships the stone of the cow's fetish of each trap. God doesn't forgive shirk by God. There is no God but God alone, not a partner. The last messenger of Muhammad. Go back to Islam before death. Think more.👍
@@stalwartteakettlepotato9879 Should I upload a more brutal video from now on? Viewers will have more blame on me. Google won't recommend my video! hahahaha....
@@filmfelineadmin yo we are eating him. nothing goes to waste besides, the little fuckers are good for nothing but killing im sure they would taste wonderful
Has anyone done an experiment on how if an Iron Ball the size of an Egg is combined with a Cookoo Bird, will the Iron Ball also be ejected from the nest?
Every time I see cuckoo chicks I remember my childhood science teacher. She volunteers for a wildlife center an had just got a rescue cuckoo chick found on the ground after a windstorm. It was an awesome month for us to watch him grow. It was only two days old an she showed us that if the chick feels anything in the nest but itself it would push it out. She put a little ball in the nest an within minutes it rotated, stuck it's wings out an backward and used it's naturally shovel shaped back to scoop it up an out. It was really freaky. She also told us if the Mom did notice the imposter an kick it out or leave it the mom cuckoo would attack the host bird viciously to kill it's chicks and would destroy any new nests. Cuckoo's are really devoted to being lazy, lol.
@@littlebanshee yes they stand guard always watching the mother and father of the other nest waiting and seeing if their baby dies. Then they kill the parents and destroy the nest if it dies. But if it lives she'll just fly off and know her baby is gonna spread more parasites. Pretty fucked up. And pretty disturbing but it's the way it works. I guess it's sort of like population control to ensure the survival of its own species.
If I understand correctly, cuckoo hatchlings do that because they have very sensible nerves on their back, when eggs push agains"t them it feels very uncomfortable so they try to push it away from them.
As a kid I used to find dead baby birds on the sidewalk near trees where nests were perched and always wondered why that happens. Interesting to see that in some instances it may have been because of a scenario like this. It's a bit unsettling seeing something so innocent as a newborn baby bird committing such a gruesome act as dropping other chicks and eggs to their death
Its evolutionary instinct to them do so, so the mother birds should get evolutionary instinct to regonize that the a lot bigger egg is not your egg and so you should drop that a lot bigger egg out of your nest.
Nature is so brutal sometimes, but it is the way it is. Pretty amazing survival technique by the cuckoo, even if it's not appreciated. Thanks for sharing.
Could you imagine if you put one of those eggs in a ostrich nest? *cuckoo hatches and sees the size of the eggs*. “Maybe having siblings won’t be such a bad thing”...
From my very childhood I've been taught that we should be like a cuckoo bird with such a sweet voice and talk to people sweetly rather than being a crow and caw like crows(talking badly). But after seeing this I now can tell all my teachers that a crow is much better than a cuckoo in terms of behaviour🙏
