Another Excellent video my friend! Love the beautiful variety. If I wasn't so stacked on Carpets already, man those are some tempting beauties! Great stuff. One of the only reptile channels I still watch these days. Cheers!
Madagascariensis is one of my bucketlist snakes, and I wish more people worked with them than Volontany, which seem to be more popular in the States. Id love to habe a Sanzinia baby of yours!
You really do have stunning Carpet Pythons! Your Jungles, Diamonds, Jungle-Jags, Jungle-Diamond crosses all of them just stunning. Thanks for sharing again here
Every Savu has already been sold?! Noooooooo! What a bummer. How do I get in line for 2024 so I don’t miss out again? 😢 edit: Thank you, Gary, for getting me sorted with a pair of hatchlings! You're the man. Next season, Sanzinia!
Gary, do you usually observe the female ovulation in the Sanzinia? Also, there is such a range of temps that I have seen for inducing breeding. Some say no lower than 70 works great too...a testament to the hardiness of this species! Has your light green female been active?
Hi Tim! I have yet to see one of my girl's ovulate (have never produced Sanzinia), but hoping that changes this year. My normal "hot spot" in their enclosure is 84-85 degrees, and 78 on the cool side. They are ALWAYS on the cool side unless digesting a meal. My light green female has been breeding non stop with the male I show at the end of this video. Thanks for watching!
Great video as always Gary, just a couple quick questions. When you have available GTP or ETB babies, how do you post them? I know you dont do waiting lists but is there a group email that you send out with available babies? Thanks for your time!
You are totally correct, Justin! Totally my fault. Never checked it when I got it and I should have. The good news is that it turns out I really needed this extra male. Thanks for watching!!
I don't know your $.$$ or time allowance for your profession/ hobby and I know working full time then dealing with snakes isn't impossible but has its moments of being overwhelmed. Of course the size of the collection and type of snake(s) factor in as well but yes I'd love to see more videos even though I'm more into venomous. I watch several channels and critique them all and look for what they can do better for themselves and the animal. While the ad revenue from RU-vid might not be part of your "algorithm" think about if you saw a twenty dollar bill on the ground, would you pick it up? Some y tubers pop vids out and have their own team to produce them while they make more. Once a month is good in it's own right cause of redundantcy, however once a week and an hour long min sounds good. And again even though I prefer naturalistic tats the hobbiest/lab set you have is a close second based on cleanliness and visually as I don't like racks*** cause snakes should be able to see and be seen. Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
