Baby LIGHT FURY in NEW HTTYD Trailer 

Yes I know, I have a habit of calling Toothless Hiccup and vice versa. All of you know what I mean, so cut me some slack 😂

On that tail, it was confirmed that Hiccup made toothless a black, prosthetic tail fin *made of his own scales like hiccups armor* to make his tail fin as durable as his real one.

The reason why Toothless can fly by himself is because in How to train your dragon 2, hiccup made changes to Toothless's tail so he could fly on his own, and Toothless probably still had that upgrade.

Im just wishing that Dreamworks will make a series of hiccup and astrid's life after marriage😅😅

SPOILERS!!! To help fill in some holes and questions you had. Nice review All information is from footage shown at TIFF, Annecy, and NY ComicCon as well as interviews with Dean, Brad etc. Hiccup's leg is on the map and conveniently keeps it from blowing away or pages moving while he is trying to write. A rock was a smarter choice though. He is able to get down though as Astrid and Stormfly are present in this scene despite not really getting screen time in the trailer. They are talking about marriage and such but Hiccup is trying to change the subject about finding room for the dragons on over crowded Berk. Needless to say, Astrid and Stormfly can give Hiccup a lift to fetch his dragon. I LOVED the lyrics too...not the Tom Petty version though as I checked...I wish I could find the exact version they used because as you said, goosebump worthy with the perfect timing and the Tom Petty one I found as his official video isn't it. They then switch songs completely to "Are You Ready (On Your Own)" by Distant Cousins with Toothless and Hiccup's leitmotif integrated. That was awesome and again, sadly, I cannot seem to find that version online for isolated listening. While flying up with the Light Fury, Toothless is clearly wearing the self operated prosthetic tail fin Hiccup made for him. The actual fin did not grow back. Him learning to fly without a fin, like amputees learning to compete, is a poor analogy as the amputees must wear prosthetics in order to do so. I agree though...although a brilliant solution, I do not think a self operating tail is a viable solution for long term release. The Rumblehorn was not Stoick's and it is not dead. The arrows are coated in a very powerful sedative. If I am not mistaken, I am pretty sure he collects it from his Deathgrippers as they do have stingers on their tail that have venom inside which acts as a sedative to any dragon they hit so they can be more easily caught/killed. There are other Light Furies but no other Night Furies (unless blind sided) Dean stated so seeing that other adult and baby is not surprising. There will likely be more Light Furies in the film in addition to those two. This is one fluid scene (a few things left out but no time jumps) and is not near the end of the film...it is actually towards the first quarter/even half. "Now that's a king" refers directly to Toothless which of course, makes Hiccup want to cry. The Light Fury isn't integrated and living on Berk in this clip. She is simply being possessive of Toothless. She is acclimated to a degree though in that she isn't overly fearful of humans, hence her approaching and nailing Hiccup to being with. The following clip with all of dragons carrying things is not part of that scene. It is just an over lap so you get the funny "not a word" quote to match up with the funny scene of him getting knocked off of Toothless.

I watched the full movie today at cinema. Not only that, but also in 3D! it was AMAZING. breath taking. 10/10. It slayed. My god, i can't stop thinking about everything that happened. >///< Everyone who's considering to go to cinema and watch it- JUST GO. you wont regret it. At one point yes. I cried. I'm pretty sure i was like the only one who cried so much, because i have seen all the movies. It really was amazing ~3~ Edit: I just hope they bless us with another movie after this, where Hiccups and Astrids kids are grown up as well as toothless and light fury's kids (Like next generation). One thing for sure- toothless and Light fury's kids were ADOROBLE! SO FREEKIN' CUTE! Spoilers i guess? >.> They r black and white. I love that :3

The only thing I see differently is the light fury's intent when she knocks Hiccup off Toothless. She isn't playing, she's saving Toothless from the nasty human that has enslaved him. She's a very untrained dragon, and doesn't understand yet that Toothless is friends with this human, and can't fly without him. I really liked that scene. It was very brave of the light fury to try to "rescue" Toothless. Shows that she's not just another pretty face.

I never paid attention to "How to Train Your Dragon" until just last couple weeks the trailors on TV are SO FASCINATING!! I absolutely LOVE those dragons (the cute ones - the black one and the white one) - - they are sooo sweet and cute and gentle - - I am so drawn to them!! Hee hee!!

Something that I noticed when she was overhead in the final shots was that she was clear-almost invisible. So, again to those complaining about her design, her design makes sense for HER SPECIES. Again she's a subset of night fury, much like how the King Cheetah is a subset of cheetah. Or the Siberian Tiger is different from the Bengal Tiger. All similar, ,but all different. So it stands to reason that when flying during the day, she can cloak herself using light. I'm not sure how it works exactly, but it makes sense to me.

In the trailer Hiccup tells Toothless, "it's time bud" and then the song starts playing the words, " to fly on your own. so i think that it means Hiccup lets Toothless go

I don't think the Light Fury attacked Hiccup to be playful. Actually I think that she was trying to protect Toothless by the thing that she thought be something dangerous. And, Dean himself said that she's a wild dragon, so it can't be possible that she'll go live on Berk (sorry for the bad english, but this is not my first language😅)

Toothless has flown on his own before the third movie. It was in the short film called “gift of the night Fury” (I think). If you guys watch that first, it will the fin problem in this video.

The scene with burning is Berk burning so their taking all of those ships and supplies to a different island. This is just my theory on that.

I HAVE A THEORY okay so that shot where Stoick is talking to baby Hiccup on the cliffside overlooking the ocean saying how the vikings had been on Berk for generations, and how it transitions to Hiccup standing on that same spot overlooking Berk all like manic looking cause its full or dragons and stuff. What if that’s a scene prior to the one we see later where they’re flying with their ships away from Berk. What if that’s the vikings packing up and getting ready to leave. Maybe the vikings know they aren’t safe anymore and have to leave like the dragons, so they move somewhere near the dragons (in the shot with the ships they’re on their way there) and abandon Berk. Maybe the reason we have the scene of Hiccup remembering Stoick’s line of “[Berk] is the home of your grandparents, and their grandparents before that” is to emphasize the significance that they’re preparing to leave everything and Hiccup feels the loss of the home of his people and his family as far back as records go and he is wondering if his dad would approve of his choice to leave it behind. Ultimately he knows he has to do it but he still feels like he’s abandoning their history (and also his dad because he never really got to be chief of Berk for very long compared to his dad). It would fit in with them taking ALL of their stuff with them since they can’t really leave it behind. Maybe the villain guy (can’t remember his name) is so angry at Hiccup that he won’t ever give up on hunting him and Toothless down and destroying the Vikings so they have to go into hiding just like the dragons. I don’t know. This was a great video and It really got me thinking about stuff like this that I didn’t realise after watching it by myself.

Someone's probably already said it, but I'm pretty sure in the romantic Fury flight scene, Toothless has an automatic tail, like the one Hiccup made him in Gift of the Night Fury. Since Light Fury is feral and clearly startled by humans, Hiccup would remove all of Toothless' riding gear and give him an auto-tail that blends in with his scales so that he has the best chance of a natural interaction with her.

In the Christmas edition when the dragons on berk fly away hiccup had made a tail that mirrored the opposite side so toothless could fly on his own.

Y haven’t they made a game about this yet, an open world multiplayer game, u discover areas of the map, new dragons can train the dragons u find, build berk, and when there is an enemy like grimmel u need to come together as a server and defeat it and of course only 1 nightfury on each server and it’s a hugeeee map Like if u agree

One thing I wanted to elaborate on- Is from the little bit I've seen of one of the shows, I think Riders of Berk..? Where Hiccup is an older version. Anyway, in one of the episodes- Toothless grabs Hiccups prosthetic leg, and goes to drag him somewhere to show him something. Then it pans to the group, saying "How long do you think before he realizes?" Seeing that he simply took the leg, instead of Hiccup entirely. I'm assuming- That's where he started to get the "Hey, lemme play with your removable leg bro" hence why it now becomes an actual toy, in this instance? I dun know. I thought it was an interesting thing to note- Relating to that.

Why does the Bewilderbeast seems small?

1. Toothless leaves hiccup. When a tear rolls down his face in one of the spoiler episodes, it also shows Toothless giving Hiccup a hug. I, personally, think that its Toothless' way of saying good-bye and leaving him to go with the light fury. 2. Fireworms (from the TV series, Race to the Edge) When the first shot of Hiccup and Astrid are exploring the hidden world, they're surrounded with fireworms. 3. Grimmel is related to Astrid Correct me if I'm wrong, but all my friends are saying that Grimmel looks a lot like Astrid... So I'm thinking that they're perhaps cousins, or even long lost siblings. 4. Drago is still alive? In HTTYD 2, when Toothless defeats the Bewilderbeast, it jumps into the ocean and disappears. The scene doesn't exactly show Drago's death, so we all assume that he's still alive. 5. Astrid and Hiccup are married In HTTYD 2, Stoick drops a comment at the very beginning while talking to Spitelout. He states, "That's my future daughter in law," meaning that Hiccup and Astrid could already be engaged. Okay that's all I have... Thanks for taking the time to read this, I appreciate it.

I watched every one of these movies in the theater and bruh there so damn good but like I don’t want it to end like this is my childhood movie series

It's exciting to see that shot where Toothless is atop the crystal roaring, hope that it's not the end. That Rumblehorn we see Grimmel... put down or tranq... that might be a Titan Rumblehorn or a color variation of one. The Light Fury knocking Hiccup off Toothless probably is the result of her being too 'wild'. I'd assume that since both the migration shot and that Light Fury shot are in similar scenes, they'll play along in tandem. However... did you remember how vicious the Death Grippers were described? This trailer shows a tiny hint of that that blown my mind. Also, I'm pretty sure since there is a male light fury seen, it might be a rival for Moonlight successfully wooing another female. I really did like the scene that showed the dripping acid in the Death Gripper's mouth, that was flipping amazing! I could go on and on about this because it's... well, DRAGONS, but I digress.

I think that Crystal heels any injury on a dragon so his tail gets healed but he so used to having that injury he forgets how to fly without his tool so the light Filoli (sorry don't know how to spell or say it right )but tries to help him get used to not having to use of his tool anymore
