Linda White I'm so glad that you're finding my videos helpful. Don't forget to subscribe if you haven't already as I'll be creating new videos every Wednesday. There is so much to cover on this machine. Thank you so much for your feedback.
Are you still using this baby lock or newer model? Also does it always go thru multiple fabrics when starting out and not get jammed up? That’s my big guess issue with my Non BL machine. I quilt. Wondering which BL to get in 2020. Thanks
I still use my soprano and it's still available. It's a great intermediate machine especially as a quilter as it has a free extension table and quilting feet. I also use the Destiny.
The reason for the jamming may be that you haven't fed the fabric through enough, that can happen. You can always use a scrap section first then chain piece everyone through like that.
@@FaodailCreation I do have leaders but sometimesI forget. , isn’t the destiny more for embroidery ? I have no interest in getting a Michener with those items,I rather sew clothes but mostly quilts at my age.haha is it real O able prices and does BL have annual sales? I can wait my Elna will be back in a while I have been using my daughter in laws Viking. Nice but miss up and down for sure, thanks for the assistance,
@@connieolson8497 if you want a good deal on any sewing machine always purchase at a show, that's where you will get a good deal and sometimes even freebies. There are event months also that retailers will have so watch out for them. The destiny is a sewing and embroidary machine. It does amazing stuff and so many incredible features.
@@FaodailCreation Thank you for the information but currently I don’t think there will be many shows and I live in the middle of nowhere.. I will look into BL. Have a Nice evening.
Hi there, firstly thanks for your question. The Lyric has 250 built in stitches and compared to the Soprano which is 300. I wouldn't compare the two machines on just the stitches. What sold this machine for me was its advanced pivoting feature. As I raise the accelerator foot my pressure foot auto lifts. For me that was a game changer and saved me a bit of time making items. The Soprano also included an extension table which is perfect for free motion quilting and garment making. If I was you I would think about what you're using the machine for and are you going to grow with the machine?
