Hello! A few weeks ago my bird (budgie) sadly passed away and now his partner is left on his own. He seems to be doing perfectly fine, but I don’t know if I should let him be on his own. The birds weren’t tamed since they we’re incredibly bonded and wanted nothing to do with me haha. Any advice?
Hey I got a question I had 4 eggs and just one hatched and the mom is feeding him but he wasn’t really gaining weight so I started to handfeed him for some days with nutribird A21 and now he’s gaining a lil weight but he ist very smal for his age he is 16 days old and his eyes are still closed he don’t have a lot of feathers and he is still small like a 7 days old lovebird what should I do ?
It seems to be like he isn't getting fed enough and is stunted. I highly encourage you to take the baby to the Avian vet, keep him warm on the trip.
