Baby Metal - "Amore" (Live at Wembley in 2016) - First Time Hearing Reaction! 

This has got to be one of Babymetal's most underrated songs. I'd love to see this get performed again.

Welcome back.🦊Apart from a couple of early cover songs she did on birthdays and special occasions Su-metal has 4 solo songs. They are all great (of course they are, they have Su-metal singing), but I think 'Amore' is my favourite one ... and it may be BOH's bass solo that edges the other songs out. This was the first live performance of 'Amore', so the people at Wembley Arena that night really got a special treat ... they also had the live debuts of 'GJ' (another Black BABYMETAL duo with just Yui and Moa) and 'Meta Taro' (Su-metal's favourite song on the second album). I hope your reaction to the Black BABYMETAL song that you said you recorded right before this has not been blocked, I really want to see that too.🤘🦊🤘

Welcome back to the Foxhole Molly, it's been a while 🦊🤘🔥 Thanks for taking the effort to share this version from BMRR and try to avoid the copyright blocked ninjas. Nice to see you're back with more BM songs and another SuMetal solo. You got it alright with the pronunciation, it can be tricky since is an Italian word that is similar to Spanish word "amor", which means the same.❤️ This was another live premiere at Wembley Arena 2016 along with GJ! and Meta Taro. I love every SuMetal solo, this one is a beautiful power/speed metal ballad like Akatsuki from 1st album, some fans believe is tied to that song, and it makes sense if you pay attention to the lyrics at the end, it was a live premiere for lucky UK fans. Amore means "love" in Italian. Our queen finally reach some love after all. This song got another sub-title in Japanese "Ao boshi" which means blue star, hence the relationship with Akatsuki (red/crimson moon). You can also see the wings which is a reference to old BM official logo but also comes from SuMetal previous group "Karen Girl's". The old BM logo got the skull for YuiMetal and the heart for MoaMetal, another reference from Sakura Gakuin previous main group; the new logo doesn't have the skull and the heart anymore, also there's only three feather in the wings. Of course BOH doing some magic with the fingers and that bass solo, insane.🔥 The rest of the Kami Band here are pretty much the usual members such Hideki Aoyama on drums, Takayoshi Ohmura and Mikio Fujioka (R.I.P.) on guitars. "Amore" is one of my favorite songs, sometimes underrated or more properly... eclipsed by "Akatsuki" (meaning "Crimson Moon", another of Su's solos and yes, pun intended... again! 😁). Very technical instrumentals here, with fast tempo power/speed metal, my favorite genre. Not to mention some bright lyrics unlike the rest of her solo songs where she's dealing with a lost love, being trapped an trying to escape from a dark entity on a recurring nightmare or having her heart filled forever by an endless rain.

Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 This Wembley version is the one I love most. Whenever I see Amore performance, it reminds me of a phrase "gifted by God" although I am not a religious person. I wonder what level of skills are required for instrumentalists and singer to perform this song. If I had not known BABYMETAL at all and someone had told me this was an image created by computer graphic, I might have believed it. I guess no one or only few people ever thought that the BOH's solo part could be played by bass guitar, to begin with. (Should be keyboard in normal case?) BABYMETAL, revive this song please.

Su started this song twice, it's really risky if she has no ability to make them sound the same. And she is killing it.

Even though I really rate this song under one of the most underrated, but I think the best one should be “From Dusk til Dawn”. Vocal-wise that song is just DIFFERENT from the rest plus it’s performed only 3 times since the band was formed. Please check it out the live version on YT and enjoy !

Nice reaction. Su knows how to draw you into the song. Starting out with an emotional attachment. High on top of the stage. Babymetal wanted the upper deck fans to get some love too. Leaving her wings behind she comes down to earth um the stage. It's performances like this that you can get the feeling why Moa said when Su sings it's like an angel came down. Once she does, we get into some fun with the kamiband. Kick in the speed and solo spots. Su lets her love out for everyone. And like everyone else at the show we didn't want the song to end at that false end either. And as the joke goes All of this while Yui and Moa were doing their homework. Or most likely it was a built-in break for them because of child labor laws. Su would get her own break while Yui and Moa would do the Black Babymetal duo songs. Su graduated from school before Yui and Moa, so she didn't have schoolwork to do. Babymetal is full of surprises even when they're not on stage. lol Babymetal everything you want in music and somethings you didn't know you needed.
