@Banzll 1 it’s really not though. If I were to show you animal brutality you would claim that they are just animals. Even with chimps that are known to inflict excessive and unnecessary pain to their enemy tribes including emotional pain by mutilating corpses and taunting other chimps. you would likely just say they are not held responsible for their actions. Humans committing the same acts creates a greater sense of anger due to the idea that they are behaving how humans should not behave The fact you think this shows that humans generally don’t act like that, otherwise you would see nothing wrong with that behavior and It would appear normal, you might even ponder the closeness of our actions to that of chimps. You may also be referring more to the environmental damage we cause as a species in which case, as far as energy goes we’re working on it, Fusion energy is making strides and once we can replace fossil fuel with fusion much of the harm we cause will stop. Because of one simple fact that the reason we do so much harm to the environment is the same reason that animals hunt or graze, most are just trying to survive. (As a quick rundown in case you’re unaware fusion energy is basically the holy grail of energy production. pollution it makes is so little it’s not even worth considering, fuel is plentiful and renewable, it produces more energy than nuclear fission plants. And there is 0 chance of a destructive meltdown, only downside is we can’t maintain it yet)

Honestly I don't know much about monkies, but I am honestly rather impressed that they react the same was as a human child would. I just hope anyone reading this remembers this when they consume products containing palm oil, millions of acres of these intelligent creatures habitat is lost to the palm oil trade - as well as cattle ranchers and other agricultural sectors. These animals are beaten, shot, maimed - all for something we have alternatives to. So please, remember the cries of this Orangutan, and try and make a change.
