I've always been a fan of the blues and lately have re-connected in a big way - have become aware of the "FolkSeattle" channel (on RU-vid) which has footage of many old bluesmen like Lightnin H, Mississippi Fred Mc Dowell , Brownee McGhee & John Lee Hooker performing during the blues revival period in the early 1960s .I'm not using a thumbpick (like Lightnin did) but hopefully this will still sound good to you !

Great lesson sir 👌 I first listen to Lightning Hopkins many moons ago, I grabbed a cassette tape from my local library 📚 There is many blues men and he is one of the best, the real deal. 👍🏻

Its in standard yes ,but Lightnin actually tunes up to F ! I was going to capo the 1st fret but figured it would be easier to do a lesson in regular standard tuning .. Mc Dowell is a great country blues player too yessir
