when using measurements from a pattern how much more length should you allow when making a ruffle with a serger? It would be great if I could just make one long piece but knit material is expensive! You are given dimensions of fabric for you to use a ruffle or tiered ruffle. Im afraid if I used the recommended amount and make a serged ruffle that it may be too short! This sounds like it would take hours off my time spent on sewing, gathering pinning then sewing again. Anyone out there no a trick to this ? Unfortunely I was unable to take my free classes of my serger due to Covid. I missed out on all the fun stuff ! I do have a baby lock. Thanks 🙂Grammas Lil Stitches
