Good reaction again. Legend 1997 was the title of the concert because it was celebrating Su-metal's 16th birthday in December 2013 ... she was born in 1997. 'Headbanger' is about a girl going to her first metal concert on her 15th birthday, but it is also a coming of age thing as 15 is a significant age in Japan and it is when they have to decide on further education or leaving school to get a job. She is realising the first 15 years have gone by so quickly and she will never be considered as a child again, so she is etching the memory of this special night into her heart so she will never forget. At concerts on or near their respective 15th birthdays Yui and Moa each took over the lead vocals for the second half of this song. Moa did the same again in 2019 on her 20th birthday.

Excelent! _Headbanger!_ is an all time BM favorite, song is about 15 year old girl special birthday going to her first metal concert while leaving her childhood behind, is a melancholic song mixed with industrial metal like you'd never seen before. This is one of the earliest Babymetal songs and it was released when the lead singer got only 14 years old so it's not story about her or something, but the song grows throughtout the time even on the girls while understanding why this song is so special. The concept in this live performance is about "Death and Rebirth". "Legend 1997" was during SuMetal 16th birhday, the year is a reference to SuMetal birthyear, so she is 16 and the other girls 14. The crowd is an important part of Babymetal live concerts you won't see other disciplined crowd so involved into the show, they're there to be part of the show. \m/ The Kami Band face paint is to represent they're god entities chosen by the Fox God (Kitsune-sama) to bring the metal sound and backup our girls dancing and singing to unite all people around the world as "one". This concert was 'Legend 1997' on December 21st, 2013, celebrating her 16th Birthday. She was born December 20th, 1997. Even though 'Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!' looked like the finale, it was followed by two more songs. It was part of a five song encore with the live Kami Band. The drummer was Hideki Aoyama. The bassist was BOH. Guitarists that night were Leda Cygnus and the late great Mikio Fujioka.
