Great reaction. 'Metal Kingdom' is the opening track on the album - so of course they used it for the epic theatrical opening number at their concerts last week - their first live shows in nearly 2 years. We have missed seeing their live shows, they never hold back on the production in their big arena shows in Japan, but they always put on a great show even in the smallest of the venues they might play as they tour the world. This was the live performance but with the studio audio - the video was released less than a week after the concerts they filmed it at, so it is understandable why it has the studio audio. We will have to wait for the DVD for the live audio. The way the stage was set up - there was an east stage where the Kami Band were and a west stage where Su started here sitting on her throne (there were 3 thrones by the way). Joining the east and west stages was that huge walkway with the audience either side ... two front rows and both of them really long - so many people could benefit ... and on that was the moving stage which travelled along the walkway and also rose up and down. I understand Su, Moa and Momoko spent the majority of the show on the moving stage - they like to get as close to as many of the audience as they can.

I was lucky enough to be at the shows at Makuhari Messe where this was filmed and it was absolutely mindblowing to see live. Su is even more mesmerizing in person than she is on video. I got chills seeing and hearing this song in live.

Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 This video is from Makuhari shows on Jan.28 /29. I witnessed both shows at the venue. You saw one octagonal movable / elevatable stage but actually there were two identical stages for more surprising production. Several drones with camera were flying around all over the venue. The Kami band was playing on the east stage (fixed) that was not captured in this video. Once this opening song by Su and Moa got started, I had goosebumps all over my body. The show was held after the almost 2-year long hiatus after all. Seriously many of audience were moved to tears and/or dropped their jaws when the gigantic fox wall opened and the thrones came out. Yeah! I chanted all through the song. ♪ Oh oh oh o o o ♪. What a happy experience!! After this grave opening, 3 girls performed 12 songs with Momoko Avenger. Did you see 3 (not 2) thrones at 02:27 in your video? Yeah, BM will change. The official 3rd girl is going to be unveiled in the next shows in Yokohama on April 1/2. Yes, at last ✌

Great reaction, . The way Babymetal does it is they have these 1 or 2 of these big shows consecutive every so often, they build a stage, etc. ones and don't reuse it after. I'm certain a lot of the stage bulky parts are rented from some local stage builder and build a stage around it. So this means they don't have to tour with it, when they do their big tour they have smaller shows. But they also sell lots of Blu-rays of these big shows.

You're very right about Japanese crowds. And honestly I think that was a big role for Yui and Moa in the early days, they functioned partially as "cheerleaders" to tell the crowd when it was OK to participate along with songs, because normally in Japan the crowd cheering or singing along unprompted is seen as being rude or uncouth to the performers.

BM concert production is top notch in Japan. We don't get such elaborate stages when they tour outside Japan generally unfortunately.

The ten prophets are holding crosiers with "The Other One" logo which is similar to the infinite symbol OO and is the title of upcoming 4th album. The track conveys imagery of one rising powerfully from the throne of silence, with a suitable fanfare announcing this new beginning._ At the end of January at Makuhari Messe they held two great live shows returning to the stage after almost two years. and by far they meet up my expectations with this epic live performance and top notch production. SuMetal and MoaMetal showing why they're a queen and princess deserving their thrones. The cinematic drone shots are just insane. We were expecting this live proshot version but we'll have to wait next month for live sound. We got so many big news and announcements, a new official member is coming (most likely Momoko Okazaki, the one who has been performing with them all these years and latest live concerts) next live shows in April 1 (Fox Day) when returning once again with another headlining shows at PIA ARENA MM Yokohama. Also they performed with a new BM mirror unit coming from another world of this metalverse, so we're guessing maybe some of the older kawaii metal songs they don't play anymore will be back with this new unit, so stay tuned for more but like always OTFGK. There was some minor issues when SuMetal was singing this live a little bit off, apparently an IEM issue or something but is all good coz we all know it's been a while since performing live and is the premiere of this song, pretty sure next live shows will be better. excellent content dude, this kind of production is usually reserved for Japan shows, but they could bring something similar for a few big shows in EU or UK or USA. But, their smaller shows are appealing as well for the sheer power of the band and the artistic dancing of the ladies and the cool visuals on a big screen behind them. they have the whole spectrum of what a concert can and will be.
