Great reaction and comments Killogic as always...like that you take your time and not just bang out reactions like many do. Need to check out the MTV PUSH...featuring the Warning for a month...songs, interviews and such...nice to see MTV coming out of their hole and recognizing great talent...may well be simply because the blew the place up at the VMA awards...my guess anyway...Cheers, stay well.
Of course it is my pleasure! I love hearing new stuff from you and this one really nocked out of the park! Are you playing an ep release or a full length? We should set up an interview at some point I have a ton of question!!!
Thanks for coming back to Freeze the Fall. Cold Front is growing. ❄❄❄.3rd video from the Thrones debut EP. Yes it was cold, around 20F in an unheated barn , late December in Canada, all 5 videos for the EP were filmed here in 10 hours. I agree with you, keep up the hard work and they will have success.👍👍 The 4th video is out now, it's called "Broken Glass", spoiler alert, no mask for Jonah. lol . If you thought the bass was good in Masquerade, check this out.🤘🤘
It is my pleasure! I cant believe they didnt have a little heater going that frigging cold to play in, They really make it look like they are un-phased by it though! well aside from the obvious frozen hands ..lol.. I was just asking them about an ep or full length and which they plan to release I would suggest ep but they have a sound that could totally be a rocking full length! I will be defiantly be putting together a playlist of them and hope to set up an interview at some point!
@@TheKillogicEffect Yep this is an EP , 5 songs. They are working on new songs, not sure if those are for another EP or an album. They did have a heater, but it was an open barn , and the performance area was on the other end from where the heaters were.
@chriso6719 I think the Mom's were huddled around the heater 🥶. Yes, there is an ep which consists of: Grief (intro, there's a video for that). Masquerade. Glitch. Broken Glass. Daughters Of Witches. One Left Standing (video coming in about 3 weeks) They are already back in the studio recording.
Nice list! All good! I would add some more like Rafael Riqueni,Pepe Habichuela,Enrique de Melchor,Paco Cepero and there are also those who don´t have recordings under their own name because they play mainly accompaning singers. In fact Moraito Chico himself has only 2 recordings of his own but has recorded with all the great singers of his time providing great lines and feeling that help to take the singer to the zone.In flamenco they say "Tocar gitano","play the gypsy way" which means playing without overshading the singer and helping to build the moment´s emotion.Check some Moraito Chico accompaning José Mercé,for instance, and you´ll know what I mean
Worth checking out the music video and the live behind closed doors versions. Each brings a different perspective to the song. The MV is harrowing. Very dark. And the live with no audience (during shut down) is just as intense as with the audience. Kyo goes to a different world when he performs. Never exactly the same. I like the rawness of this version, you can't hide behind production fixes on a mobile shot video and it's still intense, maybe more so than an edited remixed one.
Every song is like a snow flake it may be the same song but every experience of it is epically different! I have really come to love this band and the masterful music they bring to the table!
Today it's july 5 of 2024. 3 days ago they said on the news that Paco's heirs found a recording of Him and his brother, Pepe, when he was 11 and Pepe 13 years old!!! He was already a genius boy with the guitar! Amazing, truly amazing!
Wow I hope they release it! With the tech we have today just about anything musical can be cleaned up within reason! I'm going to be looking into that thank you for the info I really appreciate it!
Yeah that can happen a lot depending on how its set up but especially when you are killing it like she was, some times a little more than the drums get hit...lol.. I was doing a drum cam of a drummer who hit himself in the corner of the eye so hard it instantly bruised but he kept powering through even when blood was dripping out of the corner of his eye...lol
Im spanish until the last drop of the Blood on my body...if my life has a BSO this IS the song Who represent my whole life. I remember from i was child my dad allways play this song. Every time i listen this song...i feel like a kid again. Is everithing for me Paco de Lucia and south of Spain. I LOVE my country my culture and my music...long life Flamenco!
Its a very awe inspiring piece without a doubt! I can understand why he is such a legendary icon! I wish I would have grown up with him as an inspiration thats for sure!
I knew someone had to have suggested them because I had them bookmarked so thank you I am looking forward to learning more about them, they will be be the next Flamenco videos I put out! In fact it was your suggestions that helped me find this list! So thank you very much I really appreciate it and I hope this will educate others about this incredible genre of music!
Of the Amazing Grace versions uploaded to youtube and the Amazing Grace album I personally own, Amira's version is the best of the best, the best of the best, in other words, No. 1. I still don't want to use the word perfect lightly, but her version is perfect. Amira is a being who cannot be compared to anyone else, and her existence itself is a miracle. I can only describe her as a real angel or a messenger from another planetary system. Her compassionate actions, humble attitude, carefree smile, and even the way she treats animals are different from ordinary people. When you see or hear Amira, you can strongly feel the presence of God
great list great guitaristes for sure, there's a genre called new flaminco if you wanna chek it out remember that name OTTMAR LIEBERT a german flaminco guitarste cool stuff chek out VERANO DE ALEGRIA or CASHMIR led zep cover greting and keep it real dude
@@TheKillogicEffect of course my pleasure ottmar liebert ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-keNGG4ysHq0.html rosenberg trio ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MeLxYHOPMyU.html john mclaughlin and the great zakir hussein ( mind blowing performance ) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KalRHm5S-sA.html i hope you enjoy those suggestions and thanx for trusting in my music taste keep it real dude
The studio version is the best because it has all the original voices involved in it. The experience is totally different. And on my channel this year I was able to get all the parts from the only time they sang that song live at the time with the original voices and that it was being recorded, but because on the day of the concert there was a blackout throughout Madrid, Spain, all the material was lost. The context of the original song recorded live in 2006 is interesting.
hello there I think you should react to all of these masters you should 100% react to tomatito when he was younger he was absolutely insane he changed styles and basically turned into a jazz player which is controversial I would recommend you to react to his bulerias or tangos and about moraito it's pronounced morai-E-T-O and he's also absolutely insane some of his pieces are rhythmically a torture for many guitarists but I still love him I would recommend you to listen to his Rompeserones which is a Great tangos
Yeah I totally intend on getting everyone of them on the playlist as well as some more from Tomtito! I would love to see or hear the stuff he did with Camarón! Thank you for the help with the pronunciation of Moraito, I am really looking forward to hearing his music! Thank you for the suggestion I will have to check that out!
Saludos! Escucha a Barón Rojo. Canciones como : Resistiré o Flores del mal. No te arrepentirás, garantizado. Take care brother.
It is my pleasure to introduce such an incredible genre to as many people as I can! Thank you for the suggestions I really appreciate it, that sounds like its pretty awesome, I cant wait to check it out! You take care as well and stay safe!
Yeah I think Spain probably did more with the guitar in general than any other country when it comes to talent, verity, style, or genres Spain always seems to top the list
Greetings and thank you for the suggestion! From what little I have seen of him he kinda reminds of Stevie Ray Vaughn! I cant wait to dig into his catalog excellent suggestion!
Good point about the backing tracks - yes, they use them here and there, but it's all them. The one exception was using Alessia Cara's backing vocal on the Enter Sandman cover, which is cool because they want to give her full credit for that collaboration. The Warning's energy is through the roof and this album is awesome from start to finish. Just got my signed CD copy (Pau version) in the mail today from Republic Records! And yes, I have tickets to see them live in Boston on Sep 13. They're on fire.
That is so awesome I cant wait to get my vinyl! You are going to have an awesome time! I look forward to seeing them soon myself! Have a great time and stay safe!
Here is the low quality video from almost 20 years ago with José Andrea, which is the only legitimated voice to properly sing this song: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MDgB-yNeZdI.htmlsi=x9wD4AWzoLvpuC6J
I would like you to listen to the old version, sang by José Ändrea, the old Mägo de Oz vocalist. Even if Zeta was a good vocalist, José Ändrea had the best voice in all Spanish metal. He was really charismatic and made songs look much more powerfull.
Really, Mägo de Oz become popular when he was the vocalist (mainly because of him), but since it was in the pre-RU-vid era, it may be difficult to find his versions, but as thirdie who was a kid in the 90s, I can tell you that the real Mägo de Oz is the one in which José Ändrea was the vocalist, the group died when he left it, even if most RU-vid videos are from his inmediate departure (when the group had become more popular in Spanish America and was losing its influence in Spain).
Yeah thats another example of why media preservation is so important! Even in the movie world there are movies that never went any further than VHS! Another thing people should so with stuff like that is get it onto Archive Dot Org. There is so much music and live shows there that have never been heard by the majority of the public, I can only imagine what is still floating around out there destined to be lost to history!
definitely one of kyo's more eccentric performances, he gets extremely into the song in every performance of this song in general though. love how you appreciate the performance art and theatric aspect of kyo's performances, lot of reactors don't seem to talk about that much or even seem to hate it.
When they played the MTV VMAs, they had been on tour and were a well-oiled performing machine by that point. THAT'S why their pre-show warm-ups were done in one take.
Yeah the show I was going to see them at was when they did the VMA thing. They were coming with Guns N' Roses but when I found out they had to drop that date for that I didnt go!
not every flamenco styles, but flamenco, that good and ´´blue´´ flamenco, has something magic, something misterious that nobody can explain. because theres many flamenco artist and everyone has his own style inside art, but theres truly masterpieces that surrounds you like a mantra. flamenco is a wonder of human nature.
This performance is right there with the VMA performance. Dany is the complete rock frontwoman now. Crazy vocals and unmatched charisma on stage. 3 badass rockstars on Jimmy's stage. What a song to end with. Love that you've been promoting them for a while now. Their time is NOW with this new album and the world better be ready.
Totally agree! I Couldnt have said it better myself!!! I cant wait to see them live in person! This album is going to introduce a lot of folks to The Warning! This album with definitely be one of the best releases of the year without question!
We are going to see the labels looking for bands in there vein, they have been the band the Rock and Hard Rock genres have been waiting for and needing! There rime is now! I cant see them live in person Its really the only concert I want to go to tbh!
Dani’s voice soars!!! She does it in the studio and live countless times and cannot de denied! The whole damm band kills it even more live and this tells you these girls are bringing it, bringing the whole damm thing every time!!
Couldnt have said it better myself!!! I cant wait to see them live in person! This album is going to introduce a lot of folks to The Warning! This album with definitely be one of the best releases of the year without question!
Yeah I thought they did! D standard or maybe A I cant tell but I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that, I just thought it was me! It really helps lay down a thicker tone and sound al around with a touch of that gritty feeling it has!
Can I suggest you to listen how the Portuguese guitar sounds? check Mr. Carlos Paredes, one of the greatest: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y8cR1M1_wWU.htmlsi=EMcupQ_zhG6PvfGz
