HQ Sessions Second Wave Recorded February 2004 This is the recording that somehow made it into the 40 Year Old Virgin (2005) soundtrack. It plays over the scene where Steve Carrell packs up all his memorabilia for sale on eBay.
I was just watching the film and when I heard the unmistakable acoustic guitar - because it sounded different to the Grace/Wastelands version - I thought it was a different song! Upon discovering it was an earlier version I've been so happy aha. Peter is a melodic magician and how this song ended up in the film is a wonderful mystery.
