I wear BR540 as a base fragrance. You're right, the wearer does go noseblind to it pretty quickly. I usually blend it with Club de Nuit Intense Man or during summer on super hot days ill blend with any of the Aqua Di Gio Armanis. Usually Profumo. It's awesome how guys and girls and both use 540. Also Spirito Fiorentino is fun to blend stuff with. Its basically 540 homme

I have and enjoy BR540 even though I don't wear it that often. I have never smelled it on anyone around me, lol. I think it's an elegant fragrance that doesn't smell like anything specific in the real world, so it comes across as an abstract idea of luxurious elegance. I have numerous samples of the BR540 Extrait and I've tested it on paper. I like that one too, but I feel like it's really similar to the OG but stronger...

Have you tried layering BR540 with Aqua Celestia Forte (by layering, I mean spraying one, and then in another area of the body, spraying the other one so the scent mixes in the air in between, not spraying one directly on top of each other)? It's really nice!

Several people said that those tiny samples smell like aluminum, they were disappointed in the samples.

Does extrait have the same medicinal vibe as the edp ??

BR540 imo smells more feminine I know it’s a unisex scent but I really associate it with women because I’ve smelled more women with the scent

I got a sample and love how subtle it is. It’s whispering to you rather that scream Like supercommercial perfumes! Yet it’s still there whispering to you the next day. However it does smell a bit like latex condoms and sex and that’s off putting to me.
