Ingredients Quantity
Onion peeled 1½ no
Tomato 2 no
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Curd ½ cup
Oil 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1½ tbsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Red chilli powder 1½ tsp
Garam masala 1½ tsp
Green chilli slit 2-4 no
Ginger juliennes 1 inch
Salt to taste
Chicken with bones 500 gram
Fresh coriander chopped 2 tbsp
Water ½ cup
Coriander chopped 1 tbsp
Method :-
1. Take a mixer jar and add peeled onion, tomato, ginger garlic paste and curd grind a smooth paste.
2. Place a pressure cooker on medium flame and heat oil. Add cumin seeds and let them splutters.
3. Now add grinded paste and place the lid on top sauté for 10 minutes.
4. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, green chilli slit, ginger juliennes and salt mix well. Sauté for 2-3 minutes.
5. Now add chicken and mix well. Sauté another for 2 minutes.
6. Add freshly chopped coriander and water mix well.
7. Close the lid of the pressure cooker and cook on medium heat for 15 minutes until 4-5 whistles.
8. Open the lid and cook for another 2 minutes.
9. Add chopped coriander and mix well.
10. Now side out in a bowl and garnish with chopped coriander.
11. Enjoy the chicken curry hot with jeera rice, roti, or naan.
