Bachmann 35-410 Class 47 D1565 BR Two-tone Green

This is the latest class 47 diesel-electric incarnation from Bachmann. This was not really a planned purchase as we have a couple of class 47s already. Watch this space!
Here it is then…. Sound decoder fitted, and much programming of the Zimo decoder using their ‘script’ facility that is part of the decoder software. The audio has been reduced because at the default level (CV266=64) there was some vibration/distortion apparent from the speakers. Enjoy!

Happy new year, well that was amazing, just like the real thing. Now if you can get it to pitch and roll a little on start up it would be spot on lol

Hi R & Keith, Looks and sounds great! Only thing is, when the engine was shut down, the cab lights dimmed. In reality it didn't happen. The lights dimmed only on start up as the engine drew a lot of amps from it's batteries. Happy New Year to you both & Y. Boa. p.s: Have sent Y an email re a visit. Will hope to tie in with Keith as I would like to pick both your brains about sound fitting the new Hornby APT-P units.

Hi Boa, Yes ,we realise this.The only problem is the Zimo chip infrastructure in extended mode will currently not allow this to happen! It is either at both ends or not at all.We both thought it was better at both ends, so the start up could be shown correctly.As for the APT , i have not got a clue about these,suggest you contact Keith directly.All the best ,R.

Um, that was not my experience, the lights would dim but stay dim on some with duff batteries anyway lol
