This past spring my uncle and I set off on an adventure boating from Sanibel Island down to Everglades National Park In search of the first migrating tarpon of the season. From there we went on to meet our wives at Islamorada to try our hand for some pelagic species on the Atlantic side. We battled cold water temps and blustery winds but it made for an amazing adventure and memories to last a life time. We have to much to learn about South Florida fishery but for a first time we can't complain and are ready to try our hand again. Lessons learned tip your guides well!
