Every time I try doing laps for exercise I feel like I am cheating by switching to this form cause it's the easiest for me. When I try freestyle or anything where I'm face down, I often get out of breath because I can't seem to master breathing while swimming without risking inhaling water. I can breath nicely the whole time like this, and stare at the clouds.
+Justine Jackson (Bean) Me too, I'm going to do this to pass my 200 yard scuba diving endurance swim. Back stroke is so easy to me because you can take deep breathes and not lose endurance in muscles. Only issue is sometimes I hit my head at the end of the length of a pool, but I think if I follow more visual cues, I can avoid that.
