It's refreshing to see someone not panicking over non-venomous snakes! That was a beautiful specimen. I never saw Bear shedding like that. It's a good thing he's not in the house. I'm glad you have trustworthy people to stay in the house while you're gone. You definitely need someone there all the time with your petting zoo ... er, critters. By the way, I do enjoy your vacations. Keep filming them!

Goose said, "Heck with sittin' on these eggs, there's some ready-made kids right over there!" Cracked me up! Looks like you're going to have your OWN alarm system with those three geese. That was a HOOT watching that snake crawl in the bucket "at your command". 😂 I hope the goat is all right and it's just a benign cyst. RJ is just as CUTE AS CAN BE!!! Bear should feel much better when all that hair is brushed out. I do hope you're able to succeed in socializing Charlie. Great job at the Murph challenge! Especially tough after a vacation with lots of good eats!

You can try pulling the turkeys wing in and wrap it enough to hold it in place. At least when it heals it won't be dragging. Little Jesse is doing real good. Brook has been brushing her getting all her winter coat off. Jason sits with her and gives her lots of love too. She sure is spoiled. Love all the new animals. Your pasture looks like a post card. It looks so relaxing. Love little RJ. He is his daddy's son for sure. Can not deny it at all. Looks, personality, and attitude, oh my!! Oh one more thing, the goose with the baby turkey's might not be a good idea. They might get drowned trying to follow mamma in the water. It has happened.

I really enjoyed this video of you interacting with all the creatures. No talk of traps or dispatching wild things...emu is darling, goose adopting the baby turkey is adorable. I don't think Nugget is as friendly to strangers or new animals as he is with Jason, Brooke, MaryCarl and his pasture mates. He sees them as a potential threat to his flock(his pasture mates).

@@kellystephens077 Nugget is pretty much the same with others as with Brooks and Jason. Did you not see the video where Chestnut Hill took care of the animals for them while they were on vacation? They're strangers to him but he acted the same way he does for Cog Hill. She was scratching him and he laid right down like he does for Jason or Brooke.

I hope Goose and Linda figure out the custody issues with the poults. I also hope the little turkey chick with the hurt wing heals up okay! Charlie needs a lot more daily handling to become as gentle as Nugget. Nugget was handled a lot every day from day one. Houston is going to need to put a lot more effort into making Charlie a pet. 💖💖💖

Thank you for talking about those who serve our country in the military. I worked for the Navy’s FFRDC* for 35 years. I don’t think people realize how difficult deployments are on on Navy personnel and their families. I’m grateful for their dedication and that of all members of the military. Make sure you are spending time with the emu, because if it gets older and doesn’t have much people interaction it will be a big safety hazard. If you end up keeping it.

So great that y’all took part in the event. I would say that when Lt. Murphy was in the military, that he had to do something as hard as the event, frequently. Houston looked like he was completely spent after the kids part. More places need to hold an event like that to honor a hero from their community. God Bless.

We called them barn snakes. I had to deal with them all the time when I was growing up in western Oklahoma. They can bite, but its really just a scratch, not poisonous. They would always find a way to get in our chicken coup. Id put em in a burlap sack and go down the road 2 miles on my bike and let them go.

Lookin' like that goat may have an abscess going on there. Bring in Dr. Pimple-Popper! I'm surprised that chicken snake didn't tangle with one of those donkeys. If the minis are anything like the standards, they'd make for some good back-up for Bear. And, then there's Goose. She's a mess.
