I just love dauschands, we had a miniature long haired girl for 17 years and I miss her like crazy! She had the best personality and weighed 8 pounds at her heaviest, Gemma looks just like her!

The creek is so calming even with the rushing water. Jemma is so funny wanting that critter. Good to see Weston he is such a nice looking young man bet all the ladies really like him. I remember when you put that footbridge in. I'm guessing that was one of the first RU-vid "side hussle" up grades/practical dreams you were able to bring to fruition. I saw it also,,little Earl sitting on the bank waiting for you to catch some fish,, he looked like he was missin his buddy. She was the leader of the action It was very clear that she got everybody in the water lookin for the fish, dearly missed and when the boys start swimming the creek this summer it will be an adjustment. I felt it more on this video I guess because you were at the creek. Creek looked great and when the sun comes up it's so pretty there..

Gemma was after that raccoon. She may not be a hunting dog, but she's got one heck of a nose on her! To me, she's your best hunting dog and always has been. It was great to see Weston and he caught a catfish! Of course, you did, too. It's a shame you couldn't catch a couple more. It just doesn't seem "right" without Bella down at the creek with you guys. You would have had plenty to eat! At least all the rain cleaned some of the debris out of the creek. I can't wait to hear about your newest commitment! Breakfast for supper is the best!!

That creek really came up!!!! Love seeing Jemma - after that critter!!! Earl seemed to be just gazing out on the creek as if looking for Bella (just really rugged at my heart) or thinking about the last time y’all were at the creek with the boys swimming and Bella having a good time. Hi Daniel. Those catfish were beautiful !! I loved the Eagles nest it was awesome to see, I have never seen one before. I love too fish. I lived in Corpus Christi Texas and my husband taught me how to wade fish, fish from the docks, in creeks and in ponds. I was taught to bait my own hook. He passed away in 2014 and I miss fishing so much. I live in Lawton Oklahoma and there are places too fish here. I want you to be careful with the creek being so high. Hope you and the boys can catch some fish some. Y'all be safe.

Gemma sure is a good hunting dog. I had a great hunter too when I was 10 he was a fox terrior and loved the woods n fields everyday we could go. Broke my heart ,he got hit by a car. Chasing a dog on our road. I can still see it in my mind. I maned up picked him up made a coffin and buried in back of our house. Tippy was a constant companin . Like your lab was.

It looks like you guys had a fun day fishing the creek. There was a story on a local newspaper about a guy that caught a 16 year old small mouth bass on Lake Erie! The thing was pretty good sized too. Boy Houston’s turtle would love some of those worms!

I must say I got a little teary today watching the video. The first part of you and Weston being down at the Creek fishing and I saw what looked to me like daffodil greens but it wasn't the spot where you put them so I don't know exactly what they were but I instantly thought of Bella. Got a little teary. Thinking about you all lately and wondering how you are adjusting. Then it's always a good ending when you get to see Bears goofy self. He always brings a smile to my face. 😊

You need an old coffee can with some dirt for those worms. When I was a child in the 1960's, we would visit my grandpa in Ohio. He would water the backyard and send us out with flashlights to get nightcrawlers for fishing. They were huge.
