This Iphone 8 is the biggest Crap that apple has ever build, they put it out so people can spend more money, Steve job could never allowed this piece of Crap to hit the Market No wonder Mercenaries are running the Company and the fans of apple Like Cows just follow them instead of demanding better quality product with newer technologies hit the Market. No wonder they are losing Market share to others iPhone Manufacturer, as far as i am concerned i will not buy an Iphone, with a back and a front made of that lousy plastic crystal that when you dropit the front and back crack and I will boy cut them for ever. R.A

Some people use a special back glass removing machine which basically heats it up and pushes a rod through the middle to pop the glass off. For about $100 for the machine it's not worth it for most individuals, but it makes sense for repair shops. Watching this video is like scraping fingernails on a chalkboard, painful and sickening... at 3:50 xD It was clearly not designed to be easily replaceable. Too much trouble, just take it to an Apple store and replace it ($29 with Apple care) xD The time it takes to do all this, one could work a regular job and make more money to pay for a replacement with or without Apple care. Some should realize that *time = money* sometimes it's worth it, others times not, and this is one of them ;) This sh*t is insane, you couldn't pay me to sit there for over and hour to scrape the little pieces off. Better off just putting on a cheap $5 plastic case to cover up the back... out of sigh, out of mind. Done! ;D By the way he has already cut his little finger as you can see it's bandaged. Also, why glue on a new glass, instead of using the same strong double sided take used for screens?! In case the back needs to be replaced again later, it would make the job a lot easier. ;)

It doesn’t charge ‘cause of the glass.. lol, there’s an electrical device in the phone that’d charge it even when that glass back was removed, yeah, the glass is necessary for wireless charging, but no, the glass is there to let the electromagnetic waves get through to that electrical device, and that energy (electromagnetic waves) from the wireless charger being used to juice up your phone.

So you walk out of the Apple store, and drop it again, then go back and spend another 400-500 lol, sounds logical. Once you have broken it an fixed it using the above method once. Changing it a second time is easy as it comes off no problem. The other solution is to keep paying apple 400-500 every few months when you break it. If you have 400-500 to give them every few months go for it.......

The way you did it is 100% fine, I'm just saying that the metal band that goes around the phone you kinda damaged it from what I'm seeing in the video because of the tool that you were using. Alex Gallegos you remove the battery and wireless charging coil. You get the back glass hotter than the devils than push the glass off through the hole for the wireless charging coil. Dumbass
