This is a great idea! So this will bypass that sensor that prevents me from going more than a few mph? The seat post has nothing to do with it? I won't be riding on it, but it can be a hassle taking down and setting up all the time.
That is a great question. I also have a 2021 model Fishpro. The seats that you and I have do not have any of the internal components to use the existing back seat that you see on the new trophy models like the 2022, 23, 24. However the rear seat on those models will clip and lock in on the 21 model. However, the cushions do not lineup and the colors are different. Also, if you were to buy that seat and that back rest, it would cost you almost $700. I do a lot of design and fabrication which you may have seen on my RU-vid channel like my trolling motor, mounting system. I will be looking into developing a backrest that could bolt onto the newer sport models and the older trophy models like ours.
Today is April 17. I hope to have the first one in my hands April 23. I’ll run several stress test on it. I anticipate those to go extremely well. This manufacturer has really made this so tight, clean and precise with their CNC machines. Once I give the 👍 we move into full production. Thanks for you continued patience and interest.
