Gutted the #7 Toyota didn't win if only because it would've been so damn funny if De Vries won Le Mans right after getting sacked by Helmut Marko just like Hartley did
What? Porsche has the most wins at le mans and now ferrari get a 2x victory in a row and that makes them better? Forgotten all 19 wins porsche had at le mans?
@@italianstallion399 So they're greater than porsche at le mans because they chose not to race at Le Mans? How does that work? No gaurantee what so ever that Ferrari would take wins over Porsche with their 919 at its peak anyways. What I can gaurantee you however is the undisputed record of wins at le mans set by porsche with 19 wins. So it's not a question. Porsche is greater than ferrari.
@@italianstallion399 Of you go talking about the future. As of now Porsche are greater than Ferrari sure maybe Ferrari can hold that title but statistically and just generally when people think of the greatest manufacturer at Le Mans they think of Porsche. You're a massive Tifosi I get it but admit that at least. I'm not a supporter for Porsche and I know this is the truth.
I'm 79 and I've been a tifoso all my life, from Tony Brooks to Jean Behra , de Mairesse, Lorenzo Bandini and so on. I don't know why exactly. But I was mighty chuffed, and pleased as punch the other day.
@@GarageBoosted obviously that’s not true but I get the joke, and obviously I’m a Ferrari fan, either way it would have been nice to see #8 fighting for the win at the end
Oh just when we start with that, lets compare the BOP sets. I think that FIA is just like the Football (idk how they called), so would say they dont play nice when somone makes a good offer.
Why though? They kept the top class alive in a time where no one else had the means to do so (Late LMP1). Plus they drove a stellar race in Imola and here aswell, given they beat everyone except that no 50.
I've seen a Toyota get by a Ferrari during the race fair and square. But I didn't saw a Ferrari getting by a Toyota during this race, only one spinning the other tho...
