I like how your videos sort of recount a story with how it's broken up into chapters and filled with future you narrating what's going on. It feels like a great mix of modern and old Minecraft content.

Think I'm just getting old, cuz I really like this content. So simple, so relaxing, no over editing, nothing speed phase, to keep the brain entertained, which is the direction the world is heading. Hey Mongster, I really love the way Back to Beta is turning out ! I'm not one to comment much on RU-vid, but if I can help with a little confidence boost at the start of the series I'll be glad to do so. Beta definitely has a different, more relaxed mood and you guys make the best of it in this SMP ! Your builds look amazing ! Also I really like the editing on your last videos, and thumbs up for using C418's lesser known albums ;)

Love this relaxed but edited style! Some years ago this may have been more normal but it's good that you started now, it provides change in a wave of hyperedited content. And you aren't copying channels like flowstate either. Keep it up man!
I think we can all agree that this was a great video but I have one question. Where did you learn how to build so good? I’m inspired to build in my own world now but I don’t know how..
I don’t really know how to give you a satisfying answer. I have just practiced and spent a lot of time building for over ten years. I don’t really follow tutorials, I do accept community inspiration, or inspiration from real life. Sometimes I build what I see in my dreams. I’m glad you appreciate what I’ve made so far in this server, but I am toning it down quite a lot due to the limits that come with beta. Everybody seems to be worried about having the best looking build in their game or just having a perfect base. But I feel like if everyone focused more on enjoying the process and having a base that was fun, then they wouldn’t worry so much. Worrying over a game can leave you burnt out quickly. It’s a lesson I’ve learned many many times.
Just a tip since I notice some white noise on your microphone: Using audacity, record your voiceover like normal, but at the start you should have a few seconds where you don't talk. You can then get a noise profile and then apply a noise reduction and most if not all of the noise should be gone. I love this series and I hope you and the other guys continue to play on this server for a while. It's inspiring me to continue playing on my 1.2.5 world.
