Past papers and example questions are good ways to revise for maths. I'd suggest you practise as much as possible. It would also be a good idea to try to memorise as many formulas as you can if you're sitting the higher paper in or after 2017. (It's not as important with foundation, but you may still need to learn some.) x

Yes!! Me and my friends all struggle with physics as well. We get consistently good grades in bio and Chem but physics is another story.

I was hoping to do both French and Spanish at A level but they're not offering French A level at my sixth form which broke me so I'm just doing Spanish A level :( only my best friend and I are doing it though so exciting! Were you able to speak to people in those languages and hold a conversation? Because I'm really hoping that my language abilities improve and I can hold a conversation in spanish with someone xx

Ah man that really sucks! I love French so that's super sad :( you can carry on learning outside of college if you want though! Wow, as if only 2 of you are doing it! That will be fun but it's a shame more people don't! At the end of GCSE I probably could have held a brief conversation in French but certainly not Spanish. Now after AS Level my French is still much much better than my Spanish, (I'm just naturally better at it and also I have studied it slightly longer), but now I could definitely have a decent conversation with a Spanish person. Your abilities will definitely improve and the great thing I found about languages at 6th form was that they started right at the basics with grammar- started with present tense, then future, conditional, etc. I was worried I wouldn't be good enough for A Level Spanish so it was a huge relief to start doing basic grammar! (I adore learning new grammar- when you get to using the subjunctive in conversation it's like the most exciting thing ever haha!) The only thing you use from GCSE is your vocab, a good knowledge of grammar wasn't required :) In a year you will be amazing at Spanish speaking, and doing just Spanish in that sense will be an advantage because you can practice it more. Before my speaking exam for French, me and my friend rang eachother every day for 2 weeks to practice- I ended up with full marks in that speaking exam. Nobody in my Spanish class would do that with me and as a result I didn't do so well. So it also depends on how much time and effort you're willing to put into it :) But if you love languages and want to get fluent, you'll want to work hard and so you'll do amazingly well :) xx

can you please do a video on improving your listening skills for the listening exam for languages as i want an A or an A* in spanish next year but my listening is dragging my grade down, thankyou!

+Ruby O'Mara Holt I know I'm not eve but I've just finished year 11. I went into year 10 and 11 stressing about exams, teachers and coursework but once I got into the swing of things and my timetable became more consistent the work became so much easier. The exams became a lot easier and just remember your grade in an exam doesn't define you, there are so many jobs out there nowadays where your exams don't count! Good luck in year 11!

Hi! While you're waiting for Eve to make maths / science videos, maybe my channel might be helpful? For context, I got A*s in biology, chemistry and physics at GCSE (I actually got 100% in all my GCSE science exams) - and at AS level I got an A in physics and an A in chemistry, and at A level I got an A* in physics. I also got an A* in GCSE maths, and an A* in both A level maths and A level further maths 😊 I'm going to be making "how I revised GCSE science" videos, and I'm already halfway through making a GCSE maths revision series! 😊 Also good luck x

I know teachers will say this but honestly don't pick options just because your friends are picking them because if you hate the lesson, you won't enjoy your year. My mum advised me to pick things I enjoy or things that are quite relaxed because your main gcses are the ones you have to do e.g. English.

Forget the "pick the ones you love" nonsense , pick the easiest ones and the ones that you'll know you'll smash because at the end of the day, that's why your there E.G R.E or R.S is so easy, you just write about your opinion and bullshit,
