So glad my favorite adventure couple are back at it. One of the things I love most about your videos is you take the time to explore these out of the way places most people just race through or outright skip. Some channels spend more time showing the inside of their tent than the country they are supposedly exploring.
Bwaa ha ha... The inside of their tent? Now I'm curious which channels you watch! 😅 Thanks so much! When you have the time to take, it's nice to take the time. Unfortunately, that's not always the case. The main reason I hate traveling on a timeline!!
Glad to see my two favorite explorers back on the road. Also glad to see that the sponsors are finally showering you with merchandise (unless you had to actually buy it). Chad, hanks for staying authentic by NOT doing a gear review. There is a thousand of them out there. BTW, I listened to you on ADV Radio, so cool ! Keep the rubber side down.
It's good to be back!! We were lucky to have some very generous sponsors outfit us with some new gear to destroy. Thankfully, they didn't ask for it back! 😁 I tried to do the whole gear review thing, but I just couldn't... at the end of the day, I can't expect somebody to want to watch something that I didn't want to make in the first place... 🫤
Rose has a new red helmet with tinted visor 😍😆😆 Beautiful scenery, well worth the effort of sitting in my armchair for 20 minutes watching the video 😄😄 On a more cereal note, welcome back 😊
Great to see my favourite motorcycle travel couple back !!! Fantastic scenery .... REAL motorcycling... much better than listening to a RU-vidr review a pair of gloves...lol Vivid colours in the garage and some of the buildings .. "All right...got that out of the way" ...Aye they all get dropped at some time !!! OMG...somebody suggested removing body armour ...I wonder who that could be....lol 😉😉 Take care ..stay safe !!!
Hello Chad & Rose, old DHL fans 😂, great video again and what a nice area you're showing here. We start our trip this week starting in Bogota Colombia . think we got the same passion: Africa Twin, No stress and enjoy. Greetings Marco & Ilse
Hard to say, really. Sometimes it's just a matter of studying the map or satellite images looking for something interesting. Other times, it's a tip from local riders or friends that have been through the area. More often than not though, we're just wandering around lost with nothing more than a general direction in mind... We ended up taking a 7,000km detour through the heart of the Amazon on a hunch... it turned out to be the highlight of the entire trip!
I watched a bullfight in Ecuador in 1973- it really disgusted me when the matadors couldn't kill the bull. It was running around, bellowing and bleeding and everyone-even ancient Grandmas sitting near me, where screaming with excitement! Naw, never again for this cowboy. Incredible geology and sketchy roads. You have me hooked! Safe travels.
Thanks so much!! Apparently, from what we've been told, the bull fighters in Peru don't actually kill or harm the bull. They just taunt it and try not to get gored in the process. Had I known, I would have been much more inclined to watch. Definitely not interested in a traditional bullfight, though... 😑
Woo-Hoo, new season🎉 Besides possibly being injured in the middle of nowhere, it would not be fun picking up a loaded ADV too many times at 15,000+ ft. elevation. Nice work!😁
Great video! Watching you struggle with your gizmos makes me feel good. Not only do I enjoy your frustration, but it also makes me feel better about my own technological shortcomings.😂 Still, a Chad gear review would be mondo fun, but then I never get everything I want. Thanks again, and stay awesome!
Ha ha ha... I'm not prone to reading instructions, so I bring it on myself... Thank God for RU-vid tutorials!! 😅 As for the reviews... I tried, I really did. But at the end of the day, I just didn't enjoy it. I'm not going to force it... I think that comes across in the video. I can't expect somebody to want to watch something that I didn't want to make in the first place. 🥴 Thanks as always for the kind words & support!! 💪
The front brake discs add ABS ring were damage to need to be replaced. We rode the bike back to Los Angeles from Panama. Season 4 begins back in Peru, before the DHL debacle! 🍻
I busted my foot under one in Bolivia... it wasn't much fun... 😒 Luckily, we survived, and now that Rose will be graduating to her own bike, I may have soft soft bags in my future... 😁
