Back to the Future II was developed and published by Image Works also for Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, MS-DOS, Master System, and ZX Spectrum. The game has five levels based on scenes from the film, and was criticized as a poor conversion of the film.
For the fourth level, the programmers had initially intended to create a level that would somehow use the sandbags featured in the film's band scene. As the team was unable to devise a purpose for the sandbags, they ultimately chose to create the level as a sliding puzzle game instead.
Sorry for some graphical bugs, but nobody is perfect ;)
At least this version fixed the last level wrong year: in the original release it says 2015 instead of 1955.
As usual, many many many many thanks to minotaurus85, the Commodore 64 expert (at least the most expert of his entire town :D), he recorded this longplay and explained me what happens in the game ;) unlike the first Back to the Future ( • Back to the Future - C... ) this chapter is more linear, and it's also intresting that every level offers a different gameplay! however the first and the last stages are soooo longo and soooo boring..
This video is part of the videogame endings database, whose goal is to catalogue and create the world's largest archive of videogame endings! (what an humble and not ambitious project :D)
