We're back in Europe & so much has changed! Today's video covers mostly the few weeks before we left for the USA, as we didn't have time to edit/upload after getting engaged and flying to AZ to get married! We just arrived back and are more excited than ever to move into this new phase of life as husband & wife, get back to our roots, and get our butts into some new wild adventures! We have some fun ideas ahead for this channel, so keep your eyes peeled for more updates from us (you'll need your notifications ON!) We love yoU!
Eeeep thanks, friend! Stoked to be that much closer to meeting up with you on the road & finding somewhere fun to explore! Been loving your YT vid suggestions these days they’ve been 🔥
I am always in awe at the amount of creativity you two have spinning around in your brains. I still love the bright colors you use! always look forward to the next unique thing you come up with. Congrats on Wedding!
Such a kind thing to say, Cheryl! Appreciate it! The creativity in this build has certainly come at a cost... As much as we love the results, the time and energy these ideas have demanded has been much more than we thought it'd be at the beginning! 😅 Glad we haven't given up, but we sure felt close a few times!
Your wedding video was so amazing. 🎉💖 Thank you for sharing it with us. I feel like I know you guys better than I do most of my friends and family. You truly are an amazing couple. 💞 Looking forward to the rest of the build and whatever is next for you. 💖 -Troy & Aimee
😭 Troy and Aimee, that means so much! You two have motivated us to keep going countless times, & I'm so happy you feel that way, because that's exactly why we love putting ourselves out there and being able to share a bit of joy with everyone 💕 Once we get this thing on the road we need to host some meetups and have some equally active dancefloors!!! 😂
It’s amazing to have you back. So so missed your updates. Also both my wife and I were so over the moon about your marriage we even cried watching your wedding video. Cannot wait to travel along with you guys on your adventures.
As always great ideas! One thought, those 3d printed vents for the oven will probably deform due to the heat, that cabinet will be super hot, those tiny ovens tend to became super hot.
Wow Ladi, I am constantly impressed on your ability to come up with uber cool ways to get things done. And you obviously made a good choice with the girl with the wild hair!!!
The van progress is amazing and congrats on the wedding! In the interest of making use of the space behind the tiny oven, it looks like you could maybe add a drawer that pulls out to the side, above the outlets. Any storage is good storage!
Congratulations. I remember getting married fantabulous. You need to make a low cover for your induction stovetop. It’s going to be a game changer. It can double as a tray for working on a chair and when cooking outside. It’s such a helpful thing to have.
Hi Ronnie! I'm so happy you enjoyed the video, we had such a blast editing it and going through all the footage of the day! Some of the interviews were so dang funny too, aimed at Ladi and I and full of inside jokes from tipsy friends. Just had to show the Blaine interview at the end, but there were others like it too 😂😂 Thanks for all the love & well wishes!
Hi guys! Firstly, my congratulations! We missed your posts, but I understand the reason :) One small suggestion, are you planning to protect the wall fabric behind the stove which is near the countertop? When you spill something or decide to do a thorough cleaning you can damage it. It may become discoloured or start to smell.
I really missed you guys, but for "good reasons" I missed your shows your updates your post it felt so good again and to see You both and the most wonderful gift you brought back, in being a Married Couple Congratulations. Love what you done on the van and how it's coming along, and the extra details, it's what I would expect in anything I put my mind into too. Can't wait to see you guys drive away for your honeymoon in the perfect van life.
žárové oplechování a vzduchovou mezeru, navíc s výdechem i v zadní části skrz pracovní desku. Těmi úzkými výdechy vzadu nahoře to vyzařuje totiž nejvíc a ve skříňce se to pak může nebezpečně kumulovat. Klasické boční odvětrání to moc nedává a osobně bych měl obavu především v místech, kde je těleso trouby v těsné blízkosti či kontaktu s překližkou (kolem dvířek apod.). Toť moje zkušenost jako člověka, který to kdysi při jedné konstrukci podcenil a málem mě to vypeklo 🙂
Congratulations on your wedding. Wishing you health and happiness for your future life together. Can’t wait to see the finished van and follow your honeymoon trip in the next episodes. Interested to see what you do with your 3D printer on the road. Such a clever skill set you guys have.
So happy to have you back in my Mondays! :-D Congratulations on your wedding! I loved the video of your day. The van build is looking amazing! I'm excited to follow your travels when it's all done. Such luxury!
The wedding was beautiful. I love the fact that I'm not the only one who thinks that a bed should be able to be moved up and down. Although I would need mine to come down lower or the fold up stairs that go on the wall.
Love your guys build! those bins taper towards the bottom, leaving you with unused and inaccessible space, I'm sure you could find some way to get yourself a few extra inches of space for waste!
yay we agree completely! Being able to use these systems in every way possible is the best way we can ensure that this van will feel comfortable and modern, and let us not feel physically uncomfortable until we burn out!
Hey Ladi and Margaret! I've got a request: I really would like to see the energy percentage difference/improvement when the solar panels are flat vs tilted of your system. 🙏🏻
How come ladi's parents did come to your wedding? . It was a beautiful ceremony and yes I did have a cry , thank you for sharing it with us it was amazing. Congratulations to you both 💜 xx
Wedding video was amazing. I cried like a baby. Quick question tho about the empty space behind the oven. Why not make a drawer that opens from the side (about where the 2 electrical outlets are currently)?
This is absolutely the next level van build. Never seen anything so well-planned and built van. This will be the guide for my next van...or the van after that :) :) Great videos guys.
That’s actually a good idea for our next van. I really should have added a heating mat under the floor. My wife always complains about cold feet hahaha.
I’ve been following your van build since the beginning. Loving your eye for detail and the amount of effort put into everything you make. Thanks for sharing. I missed you but loved your reason for it. Hope to see you drive into the sunset soon on your honeymoon!
Congratulations! And good to see you back on the build! I must be honest though, I'm a bit disappointed about the sink. First, because it's not black (which would be much much nicer imho) and second, it blows my mind it's not sunk into the countertop!? It's so unpractical to have the sink on top of the counter and it takes much more cleaning, who has time for that? 😉
I get you. It's crazy how the subtle difference even after being together and aligned for so long is still felt. Enjoy it. Thanks for making us all a part of it, even if you can't always see us. Can't wait to hear where you've decided to honeymoon in your new abode!
Interesting to see how you made the heating foil (heated floor) as I'm currently planning this in my build too. I'm unsure however about your considerations for how this is done? As far as I understand, heating foil should not go directly under vinyl floors, as its not rigid enough to distribute the weight when walking on it (and the risk of damaging the foil), and as such every single manufacturer I've contacted has recommended me to add a "weight distribution layer" between the heating foil and vinyl. Additionally, I can see that you don't have a "heating reflector" base, to ensure that all the heat goes up in the floor and not partly lost spreading down in the subfloor. I'm sure you have though of all the details here, but I would be interested to hear your thoughts on this?
Congratulations on the wedding, you two are so inspirational. Do you have advice on how to start? obviously some of the tools and techniques you two us isn't something we all have access too, also budgets being a factor. I would love some advice on ways to over come some of this.
Why didn't you run some copper pipes under the floor and put some insulation underneath it. Store some of the vast heat from the engine cooling system that normally goes to waste?
Hi Ladi and Margaret! Congratulations for your channel! You are so inspiring for us. Thank you so much! We wanna ask you one question, if you can. What program or app do you use to make the project in 3d for van building? Saluti from Italy 😬🇮🇹👋🏻
Congratulations on your wedding!!…Quick question, won’t that hot water tank get hot on the outside?? if so , doesn’t it need some insulation to protect the surfaces around it from overheating and possible fire risks??
the oven looks like it is a combination unit ( mwave and element), have you tested how hot the sides/top of it gets? Yes,'t 'slot aluminium framing can take up valuable space and can be expensive and difficult to source, there are other options.
Hi Ladi & Margaret! We’d be so grateful if you share with us the wiring diagram of your van! I dreamt about getting the wiring diagram of your first small van, but now do us such favour to leave the wiring diagram of new van!
Does the large window on the roof next to the fan open similarly to a boat hatch? Can you climb onto the roof thru the window? If not, is there a hatch for doing just that that you would recommend?
I want to build myself a second campervan in the near future. Have you any good spots in the czeck where I can get nice basic vehicles? Like fiat ducato? I am from Germany btw :)
