technically, the van is AMAZING but completely unhealthy. Full of plastic, glue and waves. If you interest in this topic, you would not sleep inside because you breath poison.
@@ladiandmargaret Oh, thank you both very much for your feedback, really very nice to give me your answer. I was once again viewing both of your remarkable work. One last thing and I won't bother you anymore. Can you specify what type of PVC plate did you use to create your hot and gray water reserve...? I took the liberty of asking you this, because the underside of your Ducato, which you have cleaned and primed, seems designed to receive good thermal and sound insulation. Such as semi-rigid 50 mm thick rock wool panels, with aluminum vapor barrier from Rockwool. Neither is afraid of water and is classified A1, as for a chimney flue or other device releasing a lot of heat. I prefer to gain 40 or 50 mm of ceiling in the passenger compartment. Have a good end of the day to both of you and have a very good weekend. A little French guy from the Atlantic coast, not far from the port of Pornic. Good luck to you both, I wish you lots of happiness and a very long, fully fulfilled life.
JA tady posloucham czenglish a voni sou to kluci z vlasti xD ! haha superbomba. Finally an ebike that looks badass! I hope you will be able to sell a shit-ton of these bikes! Avalibility in US - fine how about here? Czech/EU?
Hi guys, thank you for sharing this tour. Your van is INCREDIBLE!!! Since I see you are doing a lot of off the grid camping in italy and europe, did you ever had any problem with autorities or "bad people"? thank you and congratulations!
Under the seat, there's a tremendous amount of space - is there a chance to fit a second identical battery there to have a total of around 8kWh of battery capacity? What would the range be then?
i dont really like the general looks of the van, but thats definetly not your problem. what you did is mindblowing and inspiring. having 2 ebikes and a 13kw battery on the go and still living comfortable and without electricity shortage for several days is amazing
Have you thought of mounting motor directly on the wheel hub or at the end of swingarm thereby doing away with a chain? Also enabling reverse and better regen?
This bike looks amazing! Make the charger replaceable please! and I think more mounting points in general would be a good idea-not just for the seat, but for other customizations: you mentioned this frame having lots of space to work with (per your example of a hard case). If you include some regular mounting points with a standard bolt size you could get a lot of inspiration from community additions from your first batch of customers building their own cases, gps mounts, lock mounts, etc
Is this street legal in the UK? what is the breaking distance from 50km/h and 100km/h? Don't get me wrong but from watching the video it looks like cargo train breaking distance :-(
Hi Ladi. I'm an (admittedly inexperienced) Electrical Engineer and motorcycle lover in California, U.S.A. Please, PLEASE ensure the Havoc is not just USA legal, but California legal. Us Californians usually have the strictest standards on things and that results in some products being legal in 49 out of 50 states. Please don't let the Havoc be one of those products! You guys have created something special with the Havoc. It's still in pre-production and it's probably still the best electric motorcycle out there. I love your mindset of "Electric motorcycles don't need to look like traditional motorcycles" and "if we do not need it, we should not add it." The Havoc is going to be THE BEST electric motorcycle in the world very soon. I'm no businessman, but please stay (or become) a private company. Quality and attention to detail always goes out the window when public companies prioritize shareholders over the product or service. It's also amazing that this motorcycle is more affordable than other companies that have a major head start on you! I'm definitely going to follow your progress and look forward to riding a Havoc of my own one day! ALSO: Would it be possible to get them unpainted or pay extra to get a different or custom color from whoever you contract out to paint them? I'm personally not a fan of the matte black look. Something like the Havoc should stand out with bright colors and metallic flakes!
WELL DONE! I'm recommending adjustable height or alternative parts to alter the height and adjustable seat length. Can you please create a cruising bike with high range (at least 200 km), at least 150 km/h max speed with comfortable design. I would love to see something like that, especially with some options for bags for travel.
Great design! Airstream has kitchen drawers that self-lock closed by gravity, never had one open in transit. Math error: Induction does NOT take 500 W-h to cook eggs. More like 50 W-h. Induction is the way to go. Rice cooker, maybe 200 W-h. Microwave takes 1500 watts but the times are very short, an excellent method to reheat leftovers at a rest stop, ten times faster and no pans to wash. Your bluetooth display indicates 24 volt lithium system, that's great, better efficiency than 12 volt system and lighter weight. Why not extend the burrito bed from front to back for taller folks? If my Airstream bed was 6 inches longer it would be ten times better. As a minimum, one's feet should extend into empty space, not into a wall. As suggested, it's critical to have the fresh water tank overflow outdoors. Otherwise, if the pump check valve fails (mine did), the city water overflows out of the fresh water inlet box, a disaster for this design. Agree with you -- the bed is great for naps during the day but it's really hard to feature an open bed with such a small chassis. There's an important advantage to storing e-bikes outside the van, if the e-bike battery fails it could cause a fire inside the van, and the risks increase with higher temperatures. This is the best van design I've seen so far. Me? Full timer for ten years. I love white because it reflects light and makes the whole space brighter. Your fresh water tank is not protected from freezing. Airstream tank is both insulated and heated. A frozen, cracked water tank will spoil your day. The comments and analysis on this video are far above the rest. Awesome Job! May I suggest, if you find yourself sticking to the seat, put a towel or t-shirt on it, problem solved.
