Most relaxing video I’ve seen in a long time makes me want to get out there and take the hike. Hopefully I’ll be greeted by Chewbacca lol. I would definitely be sleeping by there stream.

Looks great! Me and a few buddies are doing the Colbert Ridge to Mt Mitchell 8.9 mile hike and the Black Mountain Crest hike. About 20 miles total and we are sleeping out there as well. Any recommendations on gear that you would absolutely recommend? Also, I didn't want to dress too warm or underdress as well.

Yea I would definitely dress warmer bring layers from what I heard and experienced temperature there are usually a lot colder Bring a good warm sleeping bag to I did get a bit cold I had my fall early winter sleeping bag with me
