Love to see some good old mudding. I’ve owned this 96 z71 3dr short bed for 3 months got it at 258k riding 261k now and still almost drives like brand new. My first truck ever tbh. Had to replace the factory bilsteins and hopefully weather permit I can test mine in the mud hole in southern MO soon!
My 2014 would of done fell apart I got it with 108k needed a rebuilt differential shocks struts brakes. A couple years later alternator battery ac line ac condenser then we hit 160k had to rebuild the transmission that thing never shifted rite since I bought it I think it had bad solenoids or a cracked drum on 123 from the get go. Drives better than it ever did now besides front end parts and motor work I’ll have a damn near rebuilt truck
Stock in the red double cab ? 94 ? Tire brand / thickness measurement. Forgot what brand I got they are A.T. , but no they're not lol Any good recommendation on A.T. tires at a cheaper cost that can grip good. Would be going on a 95 z71 double cab. Was my dad's truck and he's not around anymore to guide me. Was the normal day truck , not the mud one. Normally I drive 3th generation camaros till this year. Just trying to learn a little before any negative comments.
His truck is a 97 with 2002 stock Chevy wheels 16x8 with 32x11.50x16s. My white truck is a 98 with weld racing 15x10 wheels on 33x12.50x15 BFGOODRICH A/T KO2s. You do have to cut some on the front fender for it to turn and not rub on mine, his clears no problem. But I recommend BFG A/T KO2s to anyone. Super good tread, cool sidewall look, and they wear very even and last a long time.
I just picked up 1997 GMC 1500 extended cab 4by4 z71 in amazing shape for 1000 to have fun in with 160k miles on it. Is that a decent deal and how long these trucks last. Second owner truck
Dude that’s a awesome deal!! Mine is the white truck and it has 289k miles on it. These are my favorite trucks, if you take care of it and just do general maintenance on it it’ll last you a very long time.

That looks like a lot of fun but I don’t understand the point of adding music to these videos. If I wanted to hear music, I’d listen to music. The music gets in the way of the sounds of the trucks.

Dude I was doing it on purpose to cover the truck with mud. I left it in 2wd for that reason… I’ve been mudding my who life bud and it was my buddy in the maroon trucks first time ever going.
