After assembling our new fire pit, the kids were itchin’ to try it out. First time roasting hotdogs and tasting s’mores for most of these munchkins, and it was so fun to see their reactions!
Such cute kids. I liked the music in the video especially since it was not overwhelming and I could understand everything that was said. So many YT videos that I have seen the music overpowers what is being said.
I love the footage by Spurgeon, it such a good perspective :) The "We are like Bear Grills" is so adorable! I really enjoyed this video, thank you for posting. It's so cool how you come up with creative ways to spend family time together and teach your kids skills at the same time. The "What are you goign to do with all the stuff on your hands" part was so cute!!!
I loved the 👪 family cookout video,Jessa and Ben;you are such great parents. love how you let. Spurgeon,Henry,& Ivy take part in all that's involved in a family cookout and teaching them all. all about the 🔥 fire and then how to safely prepare their food.
Of all the expensive vacations we took over the years, my now adult kids reminisce fondly on the times we would do backyard fun like this and when we would go camping. It goes to show you that kids build their best family memories when you spend time with them and not when you spend money on them.
Few things: Spurgeon’s vocab is amazing. He is going to be ahead of the game. I love it. They all are so perfect. I love how you make these intentional memories with them & give them age appropriate freedoms. You two are doing such a great job! Love following your journey! ❤️
I just have two boys, 8 and 20 months and we refer to my youngest as "brother" because it made my son (from my previous relationship) feel more involved and not so left out. First and foremost, the baby is HIS brother before he's mine or his Dad's son 😆 I think it's adorable
Aww I love how you went and got Spurgeon a bandaid even for just a little thing, because it was important to him. Such a great mom! Looks like a fun time!!
Brought back sweet memories of my childhood. My dad and 2 brothers out back cooking the hot dogs. And later in life, hamburgers on the grill....nothing like it!
Such a cute video. Spurgeon made me laugh when he thought he had to hop on one foot because his leg was bleeding where he picked a scab off. Band aids always make kids think it immediately heals it.
All the children seem to be very advanced both emotionally and mentally. They very kind to each other . They also seem to be on top of the manners game and respecting others . Awesome job of parenting Jess and Ben !
Hi! Ben, Jessa, Spurgeon, Henry & Ivy!! That looks like so much fun!! You guys are amazing!! Spurgeon is an amazing little boy!! What a great helper he is!! All your kids are so smart & so sweet!!! ❤Have a blessed safe weekend precious Seewald family!! I Love you guys tons!! 🙏🤗❤📖❤🙌
Thank you for the upload. It gives me hope, as it shows me real families that are not broken still exist, where a Father anf Mother stay together, the kids are all well behaved, obedient, & everyone loves one another and is together. God bless you and your husband for this, Jessa! 💛
Omg jessa my daughter was so excited you posted a new video we love the kids I cannot get over “ how to start a fight “ spurgeon is so precious such a nice kid 🧒 Henry is adorable And little ivy walking without shoes so comfortable so cute now my kids want one of those fired pit .. awww Jessa keep up the great work those kids are so beautiful God bless them 🤗
LOVE your music that is playing!! It’s kind of peppy and relaxing at the same time!!!! Sounds like 50’s or 60’s music!! Your have to remember this music for some future vlogs, maybe??
Definitely make some with your family! They're sooo good and fun to make. We put a little peanut butter on one side of the Graham cracker sometimes too!
This was cute family vid and all but girl, never give kids under 3 hot dogs! #1 choking food! It literally happened to my baby cousin when he was 2 years old and my dad had to reach down his throat and pull it out because the Heimlich maneuver wasn't working and everyone was freaking out and my dad finally had to just yank the piece of hot dog out.
Jessa you can do anything, put anything together, build anything etc. I love how you don't need Ben to do those things and you just do it yourself. You are Wonder Woman with many skills and talents. You are a great mom to those adorable kids. ❤
I forgot to add in that you build and put things together while having 3 young kids to look after. I don't think most guys could even do that. You are awesome Jessa!
If you guys are ever looking for new things to do with your fire pit, I highly recommend making Whistling Apples (a recipe I learned in Girl Scout camp). 1. Peel the skin off a few apples (one apple per person). 2. Put the apples on skewers. 3. Hold the apples over your fire pit, with the cover off, until they start to whistle. 4. Take the apples off their skewers. 5. Roll each apple in a mixture of cinnamon and sugar. 6. Enjoy with just cinnamon and sugar or add whipped cream and/or vanilla ice cream.
I’ve seen a picture on someone’s vlog, might be Jessa’s??, where it shows side by side pictures of Jessa as a toddler & and Ivy as a toddler and these 2 DEFINITLY look look like TWINS!!!!
Does anyone else have problems opening the packs of hotdogs? They always have the little edge to pull apart and it's never easy. But it doesn't spoil a great family backyard gathering like this. I love your family Jessa. Ivy is an angel and your boys are adorable. You have such a sweet loving family😍💕💚
Next time you make s’mores, buy the chocolate covered graham cracker cookies from Walmart...just add roasted marshmallows...less messy & yummy! Adorable babies!
Ivy is absolutely gorgeous. The boys are growing so fast. I loved doing that with my kids. My youngest just went off to college. Thank you for sharing and have a blessed evening. 🍫 🔥 🌭 😘❤️🤗🙏🏻 Lisa Palmer
So sweet. What a beautiful family. This is what life is about and makes me most content. these videos are refreshing. I dedicated so much love and care to my sons who are entering adulthood. This brings back so many memories. 💗💗💗 Note: Ivy suzy reminds me of Suzy Lou Who who from Dr. Seuss-ADORABLE 🥰
Your children are so well behaved. Bravo to you and Ben for being such awesome parents. Spurgeon and Henry are so stinkin cute but, Ivy has stolen my heart!! Those eyes!! Oh those eyes!! My 2nd oldest granddaughter has big eyes, too. They can just melt your heart!!
Hey guys that sure look like fun💜I will have to made sure I come next time🤓 ivory looks just like her mama she is gorgeous love her eyes 💕will guys be safe💚🧡💙💜💛Bless you guys 💕✌️
Jessa, I absolutely love your family..You are such a great mom..If I can put in a request on behalf of several other people besides me, would you consider doing one cooking/recipe video a week, your choice in meals are great. Please keep the videos coming.. Blessings to you and your household...
Jessa's videos have been so good! Actually, with all those darling kids and their activities, she could have her own show! Loved the videos about her newest child's birth too 😍. She could have her activities with her other family members and her friends too. I would name the show "Jessa's Way."
Fun Day!! The kids will remember times like these forever. A special memory for me was flying kites with my dad. Many blessings to you and your family.
Get real! Your kids need you to be real. I know Ben's dying to get real. Lose that "being a Christian talk" and be yourselves. Yall are both good enough to raise kids naturally being yourselves. Your kids need you, not a fake you
Reminds me of the days when my kids were little. I had to hide the marshmallows or my son Jeremy would eat them up before we would go camping. I loved those simple days. Jeremy is now 52 years old. Sighhhhhh
