With those rims and spacers you and your brother will get really good at changing out all those parts unless the customer mistakenly blames you for the short life of the replacements.
Your Going To Keep Messing Around And Put Out A Good Video At This Rate! I Do Not Understand Why That Look Is Appealing To Begin With. But To Know It’s Going To Cause Premature Wear On The Whole Front End is Ridicules Being The Cost Of Ownership Is Already Expensive Enough. Different Strokes for Different Folks. I’ll Catch You On The Next One, Keep It Safe Out There Sir
Those are called spines Aaron and a small triangle file or a dremel tool w a death wheel on low speed would clean them up but I would still return that box since it was new in the box and a pickle fork would have helped remove a lot of the parts
😁❄️ Thanks for the ride...... 2 seconds in I knew what the video was about and why..... LOL My wife calls that kind of truck the "Beehive" .... Like women's hair in the 60's the Beehive hairdo was "Jacked to Jesus"
@@aaronbummmanbehindthescene4931 I'll tell her you liked it ... I love her and that is the reason why, When She's Hot, She's spot on. LOL She dose come up with some damn good ones from time to time. When I'd call her at work, I'd always ask "I'd like to talk to THEE MOST beautiful woman in the world." I'd get a lot of strange answers for the first timers but after that most women would swoon Awwww. O' your husband is so sweet. She would respond "Yeah, all the way up until he's an asshole !"
Aaron, you’ve been practicing so much with the camera at DP’s, your getting “Almost Perfect” at becoming a videographer! Heh, heh! You sure have come a long way. Mechanic work comes hand and hand with boiler maker work and it shows! Nice job my northern friend.
Hahaha..., I knew he was “of relation”..., before you told us all... his voice gave himself away... Great to see you doing something other than welding (love your welding, don’t get me wrong)..., and plus that it is your brother... Good video, thank you sir.
Great job guys, after market makes a steering box pinion shaft support bracket that may be a big help. Bracket support fastens to each frame rail and bearing on the end of the steering box shaft with a special nut for a bearing , Check it out online . Thanks for the great videos
Ya I put one on mine after literally shearing that big shaft off, luckily it happened in a parking lot at 5 MPH. After that I'd never drive a Dodge without one.
Poor old Dodge, your buddy (owner ) took and put it on stetoids , all those extras made it look like a mad spider ? Thanks for showing us all the trouble , Now that motor cycle side looks interesting , swing over there and give us a update . See Ya
I agree 100% with you Aaron don't know why they do that and they're endangering all of us out there on the highway by doing that like you said the ball joints and everything else is wearing out even quicker and without proper maintenance accidents will happen
The things some people choose to spend their money on. To each his own, I suppose, but if those modifications aren't safe then I think they should be regulated.
steering stabilizer shock .. the bolt that you pressed that is what the shock is called someone could have dropped the new steering box then returned it .. and seller never checked it over before they resold it ,, happens a lot with auto parts .. gotten brake calipers missing half there parts .. they take parts from new unit and send the rest back .. next guy gets screwed .. 2 trips too get parts .. I learned too check the parts before I leave the auto store .. at times we had too go threw 3 boxes too get a complete set up ..
@@aaronbummmanbehindthescene4931 sorry I missed you live last night ,, I watched it after ,, it was cold below 7 degs my internet did not want too keep up high speed enough for live feed ..that is a beast you welded in the shop .. the tool needs a good nick name .... stay safe good luck going back too work .. shop rags on fire is not fun neither is a hoodie on fire when your in it .. got a few myself ,,
Back in front of the camera!!! The splines were a bit messy, the customer is right to send the box back..... obviously quality control were out to lunch when this one came through.... 🧐🤦♂️ Press did its job, always expect the unexpected 😵😂😂
Pretty sure that " bracket thingy " is called the Pitman Arm. Might also want to check the sway-bar end links one on the drinkers side ( passenger ) looked like it might have been a little toasty. good to see you back MBTS
I needed a cutting torch to get the hubs & axles out of my ‘04 Ram 1500 4WD. Surprised you guys aren’t blazing away there. Looks like an early spring up there. We have three inches of snow on the ground in the Louisville area!
Not surprised at the condition of that Dodge front end Aaron. They are notorious for wearing out fast (even without the spacers & offset wheels). I had a few Dodge 250s so I know. 😉 Not your average "boilermaker"/ welder video but good job.
How come the tall guy has to squat under the truck? O’ wait… the short dude is the man BEHIND the scenes! I have my daddy’s old Ball Joint Fork laying in his tool box…. It hasn’t been used in 20 years. I closed the drawer while you were struggling so I didn’t have to hear it scream… “I can do that!” MBTS… surely there’s a part 2?
Aaron or is it MBTS only with DP Good to see you back on camera and blaming the camera. KineMaster has a app called Speed Ramp at the bottom of KineMaster into page you can slow down that part of the video. You can show it in part 2 and add it to the video. It is free.
You two should have pulled some strings and got ol No Joke to wrestle that gearbox in and out for you. You two didn't realize you could have gotten a pro for that did ya?
Aaron, I would have thought you would have just welded the Pitman arm back to the steering box! Looks like someone tried to beat the steering box back together. I need a new Redhead on my F-250 , do you make house calls to Northern Kentucky?
Those Dodge steering gearboxes have enough problems without putting those tires, wheels, and spacers on it, especially with that heavy Cummins sitting on it.
@@aaronbummmanbehindthescene4931 It's good to see that you are finally getting some free time to put out some content, you've been missed but after watching you and DP live tonight it sounds like you're about to get back to your full time job. Sounds like you're either killin it or killin yourself with work. Great to see you Bud!
Saw the DP video of the trip to Vegas and was left with two questions, (I sincerely hope you don't mind me asking): 1.) Did you really get the Fall Arrest Harness? 2.) If you did get it, what is the name of the company that gave it to you? I thought it was a great gesture.
Yes and 3Mi could not believe that they just gave me a harness! To me it was a great gift I’ve been wearing a 3M exo fit harness for 15 years now they are my favorite! To me they are the most comfortable harness on the market
Can I make a comment, well yeah cause I wrote this but that aint what I mean. When you are adding music and such to your videos, and this is a common problem I see people making even the ones I have watched for 10 years now, check that the volume levels of your music are not overpowering the sound levels of your voice work in the video. I have to turn these up to hear them, then the music comes screaming in and I turn it down, just to need to turn it back up to hear what y'all are talking about. Just my thought on the matter, but have you ever seen that happen in a movie or t.v. show? and what do people think of commercials that do it? Nice to see you get to make your own video, that is some weird body work to an 850J almost looks like a Dodge now. ;) I always been curious what they would look like if you slapped some wheels on the idlers and drives, now I know. Just kidding, but you can mess with your buddy some with that. It would almost make sense to go and get the front end off a box truck or dump truck and put under these trucks if people are going to fix them up like that. wider axle, no need for spacers, steering and suspension designed for the loads on it. thanks man, y'all have a good one.
Thank you for watching and yes I will turn the music down more I went from 100 to 60 on the sound envelope but I will go more I do this all off my phone and can’t tell what it sounds like
Aaron only 6 months since last posted video are you competing with DP on how long from filming to publishing ? Or did you hire DP to do the editing and publishing? All we got was From the video that DP said you where slacking to post ( he did not say any thing about filming ) so a connoisseurs ytub do we start to get more content now ? A change of axles and you have a more reliable truck but if the customer want to try cheap out in the long run its more expensive the customer but its the customers choice. Investment get some plate so its get less space between the point on the press and maybe som v-blocks less chance that some thing come flying just need 1 and it's not a good experience.
Lol 😆 I got to tied up In my real job and couldn’t get any free time but yeah I have a set of the v blocks somewhere just couldn’t find them thanks for watching I appreciate it 🤙🏻
Not my truck 💁♂️😂 but I think they look stupid with the wheel spacers to be honest. Just my opinion not met to insult on. I also have never seen a dodge truck that didn’t need steering box and ball joints. They don’t last long on at all.
I don't get this generation with the tires hanging out like a 🐓 in the wind and the offset of a blown out porn⭐❓😂😂😂 all that shit destroys the suspension components. Stresses it out and you're replacing it every 6months to a year. Hell when I had a rig it how much tire you could stuff under the tubs WITHOUT rubbing😂😂😂
