Hard challenge for you no tools nothing you make your own tools from rocks and sticks and what ever you can find in the forest has to go for a minimum of 1 month rules only allowed one other person to company you and allowed one small tent for the first week and have to have the same around the same weight as started can have a maximum of 3 kg apart from started weight a challenge you can do in the covid 19 situation hope you can try it and keep up the videos good stuff 👍👍👍

@@twolilfishies could be water but i think its just air to balloon the worm so it floats just off the bottom so it isnt just dragged thu the mud isnt the most common practice but it is becoming more and more common with time

well to be fair having bacon in a survival situation is possible as long as you are in an area with feral hogs you just make your own bacon it isn't hard to do and most survival situations in the woods people will ever find themselves in these days will normally be people out hiking/camping and while i know most people don't do it bringing a basic survival kit when doing these things is standard practice and those kits often include collapsible rod n reel combos or stuff like a survival bow the grill they used just because they wanted to or whatever reason but with how much junk can be found discarded out in nature you can fashion a grill out of junk laying around if you really want one and find the right materials i think fowler reacently did a grill build vid but i have yet to watch it to see what it actually is ..... the best way to survive a dangerous situation is to avoid it the second best is to be prepared for it just in case you can't avoid it

I've done this with nothing (admittedly found line + hook on the coast giving me the idea) used grubs from a felled beehive (with some honey for me as an added bonus)

It seems everywhere you go, there is trash. I try to always carry a trash bag with me to pick up litter in the woods. I’ve had my eye on those bio lite stoves for some time.

as others have said, the pit is to keep from turning brown. Pro guacamole tips from someone who lives in south texas in an 87% hispanic town: 1: for the lime, just cut off the end of the lime and squeeze that in. It's the perfect amount 2: instead of salsa, use one small roma tomato and a charred jalapeno (or 1/3-1/2 of a charred poblano if you don't like it hot) minus the seeds. cut them in about 1cm cubes. It will taste SO much better and look better too. 3: ADD CILANTRO! It brings so much good flavor and it's dirt cheap and very easy to grow.

Hells yeah Chris . If you keep the avocado seed with the flesh it prevents oxydization. My daughter loves the fish trap, I made a few but no luck yet. Add fat to your salsa to combat the acidity. This is a great video bros! Your regional cuisine has been Mexicano lately huh? I love maple. I hear it’s regulated harder than gasoline out there... 😃🍺

some tips for the bottle minnow trap design. make some small holes on the bottle, almost like a strainer. it will make it easier to sink, with some rocks in it. easier to take the minnows out, too. you can attach it to a fishing line, and throw it wherever you want, and pull it back out easily later, without having to wade in the body of water. the holes will also help more chum cloud escape from the bottle to attract more minnows. the bottle trap is a widely known trick among anglers where i'm from. commonly they target shrimp/prawns for bait though, not minnows.

Back in Mich ( here in the states)when I was a kid, I used to use a purple flower that grew close to the ground. The large mouth bass loved them as I love the bass. TTFN Thx for another great video. And still lovin that woodobo seasoning

i used to do something simular growing up. we would fish a quarry like Tom Sawyer. Long branch and 8' of line, hook and maybe a sinker if we lucked out and someone left it. We would look for a worm or two and use that as bait. Once we caught a minnow, we would use that for bait to catch perch and sunfish. I spent hours and hours a day out there fishing and swimming. It was a large part of my childhood (i would guess 8-12 years old).

We in the Uk are called limes because in the 1850's the royal navy would add lime juice to the grog to prevent scurvy. THey used Limes because that's the only thing that will grow in our climate.

I have to agree about the maple syrup. Some folks just don't like sweet stuff. I used to, but it's just off-putting now. That doesn't mean a second line wouldn't be fine but let's be honest, we can just add maple syrup. making and selling maple candy is probably a better option.

Beauty of a brown trout. If you have a problem with your guacamaole being soupy try using a fresh tomato green onion and jalapeno instead

With regard to avocado taking the stem cap off can be another indicator, green underneath should mean it's ripe. Not foolproof as I've had under ripe avocados using this method alone. If combined with the squeeze test you should get a pretty good hit rate. (Also "limey" comes from the royal navy's penchant for citrus to combat scurvy.)

By the way when you cook a trout just leave the bones in and then when its done grab the spine on the side that is closest to the head and just gently pull it out by wiggling it side to side easily. Will come out no problem.

the whole object of using the bacon is to keep the trout moist and flavor it. the bacon served it's purpose. The trout would be way over done before the bacon gets crispy. nice job on the video

Ah the early spring flower the Trillium. It is thought to be illegal to pick in Ontario but according to google there is no law. It is the emblem. It is a medicinal plant and it is also known as toxic so best to enjoy it's beauty unless you know how to use it properly. The leaves of young plants are not toxic and can be eaten like spinach. The bad thing about harvesting it is it takes a long time to produce so I personally just view them.
