Lyndon offers both fish stock for ponds of any sort as well as stocked pond fishing, fly fishing, and fishing of any sort for kids to adults. You can book corporate events, or a day with the kids. Lyndon will show you how to clean the fish and even rent you a rod and real. Just show up and fish!
The fastest way to dig a big pond is to use the help of a qualified excavator. This excavator normally digs out house foundations and the operator has years of experience digging giant holes in the ground and removing mountains of material.
This pond was also monitored year round to see if it holds enough water and has the depth the fish need to stay cold. Rainbow trout need good to excellent water quality and plenty of oxygen. Water flow is an asset to help fish spawn. We discovered that the water in our pond is filled continuously with the help of ground water and is very cold, even in the summer. Trout will die if water gets above 25 degrees Celsius. Shade also helps keep water cool and our pond is sheltered for a good part of the day with trees.
You will need to find out what kind of soil you are working with. Is it clay, clay-loam and sandy loam are best for holding water. You will want to avoid limestone, shale, sand and gravel-they leak. Except in our case since the gravel is actually part of the ground water, which is ideal. You can ask around to find out if your pond will leak or will hold water year round. You don't want your pond to dry up in the middle of the summer. 15 feet is more ideal, but our base is shale and therefore can not be dug any deeper.
A trout pond is very difficult to establish, but it is very possible to do correctly if you know what the fish need. Aeration of the pond is something we will be exploring as we see how the season develops. We are hopeful that water remains cool so dissolved oxygen in the water remains high. After we dig the pond, we will let is sit for a few weeks before putting our fish in the pond. Ideally you will let the pond sit for a full year, but we are not patient enough for this.

I don't think there is a right or wrong way with dealing with these situations. I can see where you're coming from and why you want to move on, but personally I couldn't ignore this as I believe it enables this type of behaviour and he'll just do it someone else again in the future

I'm being taken to court by code enforcement for violations done by renter/owners in a house I attempted to sell on a note. The first statement from the code enforcement officer at my first court hearing was a lie, they state they seen the violation/s by "driving by" the property, they will not admit in court the truth that they only go check for violations after someone files a complaint. It's ok for them to lie in court, but I cant! I know this for a fact as I've dealt with code enforcement twice now and it's the same thing in court, they start with a lie in their testimony! I know this for a fact as my neighbor lady told me she was gonna call code enforcement on me for filing a complaint on her for her barking dogs, in the eyes of code enforcement it's ok for someone to retaliate against you!? The neighbor at my rental/sale house also told me she had filed the complaint with code enforcement on my tenants, not knowing she was actually filing the complaint on me the home owner. To make a long story short, when I get done with my court case with C E I'm gonna be filing a new complaint on my neighbor for her barking dogs, and when I get done with that case I'm gonna be looking at suing someone else for damages done to me. I hate the court system but it's the only way to get results with people, no more Mr nice guy for me, if people do you wrong go after them with everything you got legally! Chris you should serve these people legal notice that you want your property returned and compensated for the fish left, or you will take them to court, AND YOU SHOULD DO IT! Don't be a nice guy and let it go, NO MORE MISTER NICE GUY! Go after them!

It takes 5 minutes with an officer to legally remove your personal possessions from another property when they have verbally nullified their contract. If you still wish to pursue this let me know. I can have this arrangement in place.

Lately it seams a lot of the people I subscribe to are putting out very uplifting videos. BUT THIS Takes the cake. I have been in a lot of situations in life that I just walked away from rather than continue the drama. A LOT of money lost but the piece of mind I gained after leaving it alone made it worth it. My hat is off to you for dealing with your situation the way did and I wish only the best going forward.
