The fact that no-hitting the Bad Apple bullet pattern is possible on the April Fools Harder Mode made by OceanBagel for Shayy thanks to a dream they had at one point that evolved into a full on tread is absolutely perfect. Now for Shayy to learn to no-hit it and do it in under and hour. ;)
So, let me get this straight: Touhou is a game about dodging bullet patterns. It went on to inspire two now famous fan works: Bad Apple and Undertale. Now, these two have reconvened and themselves turned into a bullet pattern.
A bit incorrect, Undertale isn't fan work, it's another game, not related to touhou (it was inspired by it, however it's other project) bad apple is touhou fan work.
yeah undertale is unique but has some heavy inspirations its its own game and world and crap bad apple is a remix of a touhou song and they made the mv too so its a fan work

shayy ily 😭😭😭 tbf as someone who's only beaten sans once, this doesn't seem to be too hard to accomplish, there's a lot of stationary sections also im not big enough of a content creator to get hit by strikes hah, hope that doesn't become an issue in the future

Yeah, it really helps that as a great animation tool that is two-tone there has to be areas of black space or white space that you can stay in, since otherwise the video would be very busy

well it took one hour on stream, but i've played the fight during the week. i actually only beat the first time 2 days before this. probably played an hour or two a day for the past week
Okay, I have no idea what is going on. You get on the Black part, and you don't get damaged. Then you get on the White part, AND YOU STILL DON'T GEY DAMAGED??? I have no idea what hurts you there, can someone please explain? (Nvm, you can switch which Colours that can hurt you)

you can change soul mode by pressing C during battle,basically your soul is grey and take damage to white attack,but if you press C it turns to white and take damage to black attack but not white attack
It doesn't look too hard but i suppose because it's a no hit video, and i haven't tried myself... And even with that, there are definitely very hard parts. Edit: okay i looked at the original vid and remembered how actually kina clunky controls are in undertale, it is hard as hell, great job dude.
Pressing the C button changes the core of your soul from grey to white and back. If this color matches the color you’re on, you don’t take damage. Otherwise, you do.
A ganeplay mechanic of this mod is that you can hit a button at any time in battle to change if you get hit by white (attacks) or black (the background)

he can switch his soul color using c. if his soul color matches the color on screen he’s in line with he doesn’t take damage. if you touch the other color without switching it does damage
This is honestly the first time I actually listened to Bad Apple. I was just tired of it being spammed everywhere a few years ago so never actually listened to it. And now that I did listen to it got a video with Blue Monday playing appear and thought it was Bad Apple at first from listening to the song a single time (because they have the same beat at the beginning). Even though I heard Blue Monday much more times 🤣
the mod uses a color switch mechanic where you can swap the heart and you switch from taking no damage from black to taking no damage from white. It has a merciful brief invuln on swapping at least so its not insane to time.
if I had a nickel for every time a song was made about a girl singing about their depression and it ended up being a banger, I’d have 2 nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice
your saying no hit but like... most of the time your in the white, which is the part that hits you. an actual no hit would be staying in the black the entire time, which i dont think you did?
That is not how this mod works. You change the inside of your SOUL by pressing "C". If the inside is black, then white will hurt you If its white, then black will hurt you. He has to manually time the C press every time he goes into the opposite colour
The main mechanic is the entire mod this fight takes place in is the ability to swap which color you take damage from. You start by being vulnerable to white, but you can switch to being vulnerable to all the black areas by hitting c. There's also a period of invincibility when you switch, so you don't need to do like a frame perfect input. I recommend watching shayy's video playing the troll mod
His soul is either grey or white on the inside and he switches between them by pressing C If its grey, then everything that is white will hurt him If its white, then everything that is grey will hurt him He has to time every switch perfectly
