The first Bad Boys is a classic and one of my favorite buddy cop movies, but Bad Boys II still stands as one of my favorite action movies of all time, and definitely my favorite Michael Bay film. More than 20 years later, that entire Ferrari chase sequence still gives me goosebumps. I remember spending many hours trying to recreate it in GTA Vice City when I was younger lol.
I love everything about this movie but I think my favorite moments are with the Haitians, when Markus is on X, and the fact when they got the kid who plays “Reggie” I believe he didn’t even know exactly what was going on so the gun part low key spooked him. 😂
One of the best sequels to a franchise to ever come out and one of the world's favorite bad boys movies. So entertaining and it's one of the funniest ones. 😂😂
"Shit just got real." Fun Fact Theatrical movie debut of Denise Quiñones, Katarzyna Wolejnio, and Jasmine Waltz. Location Location Fact: While this movie was shooting on one side of Cape Florida State Park on Key Biscayne, 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003) was filming on the other side of the park at the same time. Demolition Man Fact: Scenes from the movie were filmed at the "Bird" house in Delray Beach, Florida. The mansion stood nearly completed and vacant for years before it was purchased. The new owner advertised in Variety for a movie company to use the mansion in a movie and blow it up. By the end of filming, only the swimming pool was left. Automobile Enthusiast Fact: The man driving the P.O.S. car that Marcus attempts to confiscate, but Mike tells him to go for a better car, is indeed director Michael Bay. The silver car that is used in the freeway chase is a 2003 Cadillac CTS. Additionally, it was also featured in another extended highway car chase scene in The Matrix Reloaded (2003). The car was riddled with bullets in both movies' chase scenes.
Yes its Theresa Randle aka Theresa Burnett same actress from the first film and she plays in the 3rd film aswell it’s not till the recent 4th film that just released that she got replaced by Tasha smith because Thresesa Randle has health issues
When Michael Bay does a sequel he does a fucking sequel. This man knows how to make an action film. Although he's been taking a break recently. But this one is definitely my favorite in terms of action scenes they're pretty damn epic. But you got 4 good movies in this it's easily up there with the Lethal Weapon series.
There’s a spinoff tv series called “LA’s Finest” with Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba as law enforcement partners (I think FBI) in Los Angeles. It lasted two seasons. 27:07 it could in movies in 2003. Movies don’t care much what is actually capable and what’s not. 34:40 my brother wants to do this when my daughter starts dating. 37:01 think of the casting call for that role “woman needed to play a topless corpse. Must be comfortable being topless and having someone lay next to you.” What was the casting director looking for in the woman. Were they looking for a certain bra size? Some of these background roles are so interesting and would love to see the casting calls for some of them.
@QunilliousBrown it was in the commentary on the Bad Boys 2 DVD plus she also said in an interview. She was dancing with a cowboy hat on. They only show her for a second or 2 but if you pause it, it is her.
Bad Boys II is always a good time. As a matter of fact, there’s very little I don’t like. It might be a meme at this point, but Michael Bay’s use of rotating camerawork actually was used quite well here, particularly during the gunfight with the Haitians in the stash house. The way he used the Fireplace as a focal point to rotate around was fantastic. Using it as cover too was brilliant. Felt like some Rainbow Six shit. Also, this film, as far as I’m aware, broke a still uncontested world record in Guinness Book for largest number of destroyed vehicles during one scene in an action film. And the humor as always, is 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
