I really hope and look forward to you watching Sambakja and the Beastmode dance practice at some point, I think you will really enjoy them, but honestly their music is so good that you can literally select any of it at random and regardless of the language or genre, you will have an incredible experience! As you mentioned you notice Hyungwon and Minhyuk more in their latest stuff, and that's because they used to get the least amount of lines, as a 7 member distribution makes it harder to shine. So just as Wonho is finding his own style and shining brightly as a soloist, so too are Minhyuk and Hyungwon able to now really showcase themselves and their incredibly unique voices (no one sounds like them) more, and show us all what amazing artists they truly are.

Wonho and Shownu has always been, is and will always be the powerful duo of MONSTA X.. From vocals to dance, to visuals, to physical.. 😅

Also background vocals / adlibs are usually Kihyun...MonstaX is my favorite group, they have a very consistent sound and output: every year, they come out with two korean albums, one japanese album, and they also have some songs in English. If you want to see other groups with a "bad boy" image, then may I suggest B.A.P, Ikon and BlockB . B.A.P disbanded a few years ago, their music label didn't treat them right, but I think they're pretty much the "OG" of "bad boy group". Their debut song "Warrior" is really fun, and their rap line was also iconic. iKon is still around, although much like Wonho had to leave MonstaX because of a scandal, iKon's leader had to leave because of a scandal, so they suffered a major setback. iKon's rapper, Bobby, won a rapping competition in Korea. I think "Bling bling" and "Anthem" would be their most badass songs. As for BlockB...I'm not sure if they still exist as a group, since the leader went solo. Maybe somebody already answered you, but I.M's real name is Changkyun Im. So his stage name is basically his last name, spelled out. His "catchphrase" is "I.M what I am", and he says it in a couple of songs to introduce himself. Jooheon /Joohoney also says his name before his rap verse.

Jooheon said time and time again, and oh so proudly in almost all the shows he goes to, that his main influence is THE GRRAT MICHAEL JACKSON.

Joohoney likes to listen to a lot of rappers and he also listened to boy groups when he was younger but Michael Jackson is his all-time favorite.

Without trying to sound bias I completely agree that Monsta X has the best rap duo in kpop. It’s not only the way they go back and forth or that they write their own raps but their flow and delivery changes with each song that it perfectly suits the tempo and feel of the song. They have the rapper swag and energy In spades but I think they also have heart in the way they deliver their verses, it hits different!!

I'm just waiting for the Gambler reaction, no one survives that. Hero (rooftop ver.) is an oldie but a goodie. One of my favourite Joohoney raps is in Hero. Also they just came out with a new English album, (their second) which has some fantastic songs on it. Monsta X English albums tend to really showcase everyones vocals, rappers included. Anything you pick will be amazing, their B-sides are legendary so even off RU-vid I'd suggest taking some time to go through the B-sides. Loving your reactions! Happily subscribed.

i.m's eyebrow piercing in shootout is fake but he got a real one like right after this era. he also does have a small tattoo on the inside of his wrist as well as a pretty big one on his back. i.m comes from his last name "im changkyun". he was added in halfway through the show so during the time a lot of the contestants found it unfair that he skipped rounds of elimination

11:00 "I.M" is the name and the line "I am what I am" is the signiture sound(lyric?) of him :3 His original name is Changkyun Im and I.M is named after his last name.

I'm living for your reactions, MONSTA X IS A TALENTED GROUP, I will stan them forever lol. I definitely agree that Jooheon and I.M are THE best kpop rapper duos out there, haven't seen anyone be up to their level. Even many other groups look up to them. Hope you react to more of their content.

Thank you for your video. Love your reactions to MX! Just a note on IM, though I'm sure somebody else explained before. They didn't dislike him because he got a spot instead of some of their friends, they disliked him because the show's production brought him in a the 11th hour. They had just gone through their toughest elimination yet and the very next day, one of the judges invited them out for food, and as they're eating, the guy goes 'we think we don't have enough rappers' and brings him in. IM was 19 or 20 at the time and was visibly terrified. The judge introduced him and then walked out. Now, there were only two challenges left at this point. Everybody had worked really hard. Wonho half wrecked his throat in the process, and in comes IM, almost at the end. Everybody was very shocked and angry, but Jooheon and Wonho sort of opened up to him pretty fast and IM was the first one shocked to be selected. By the time the final elimination came, and even though Jooheon was sad his friend didn't make it, he was there to hug IM when he was shocked and happy and upset at the same time. IM didn't look up to camera once during final selection and kept his hood up the whole time. On a different note, I laugh when you say to get the guys out of your face cause that's something none of us as said, ever... lol Thank you again for your reaction, looking forward seeing more.

About your question of "I.M what I'm", it was like a introdution of him/his name, he used a lot since debut (you can see Jooheon has one too "Jooheon one hunnit") if you listen to some bsides is there too, his name is Im Changkyun, so they used the "Im" as "I.M" for his stage name. About the hated part you mentioned, it was really in the beggining and we can see only on the survival show No Mercy were monsta x was born, they talked a lot about this after the debut, because a lot of people still thought the members didn't like him, its a sore topic, but they're just like a family. Also, Shine Forever, Jealousy, and Dramarama. Their English albums are also more vocals, like Who Do U Love, Middle of the Night, and Misbehave. I highly recommend live versions of Secrets, Versace on the Floor, and Gambler (watch the MV too!) Just watch everything; MX doesn’t miss!

I think Jooheon's influence in rapping, one of them, is Korean rapper named Swings. He got the nickname Little Swings before he debuted.

Monsta X is a whole mood.. they are different than any other group.. they get a lot of hate for it and don’t get a lot of the recognition they should because they are different.. but they are so distinct that you can always tell when it’s a Monsta X song! And if you ever expect to see Wonho in a shirt.. spoiler alert .. he will disappoint you every time lol! And Hyungwon and that hair had me ☠️☠️.. he became my bias wrecker in the fatal love era... there’s also a special stage that featured the rappers from NCT, Stray kids, and Monsta X.. you gotta watch that!! you already noticed it, but this shows right in ur face how Jooheon and IM hit different when they go back to back with rappers from other groups.. the rap they do is even called No Competition lol (no hate intended to other groups btw.. just saying they are different and MX is my personal preference)
