At these guys' ages they shouldn't be street cops anymore. They should both have desk jobs. Then these new younger cops come in on a case that they can't handle and Mike and Marcus have to come in and save them. See, I just came up with a better Bad Boys movie for 2 actors who are "getting too old for this shit." 😎

Personally, I think the first one was the best one. The second one had some cool sequences, but I still think the first one is better. Plus, the first one had Téa Leoni.

I was genuinely surprised at how good this movie was.

Had Thorias watched the 3rd movie he would have liked this one even less. The 3rd one already felt unnecessary and both protagonists already looked very old for this shit, specially Lawrence, he looked tired, overweight and clumsy. Believe it or not Bad Boys was good because of Michael Bay, it was something about the writing, directing and the way Michael did action, I know it is a meme now, but he got that reputation for a good reason, he knew how to make you excited and have a good time. Bad Boys 1 took itself a bit too serious but it was a good buddy cop thriller. Bad Boys II is so stupid but hella fun to watch, over the top action, with both protagonist at the peak of their physicality and acting performance, not too young, not too old, experienced enough, capable enough to play their action scenes, the sweet spot for any actor when they are in their early 30's. The 3rd one just doesn't have that magic anymore, it is so meh and panders too much to my country Mexico, which I find annoying. That's why I don't have any interest in this one.

It's often been said, it's not the jokes, it's the person telling the jokes. In other words if two ppl tell the same joke, one gets laughs the other doesn't. However seeing how the writers in Hollywood, for the most part don't know how to write. I'm inclined to believe it's both the writer and the teller to blame for a joke failing.

4:06 The Skittles thing is actually a little nod to the first movie, when The Bad Boys are visiting a connivence store, the owner mistakes them for criminals, holds them up with a gun only for them to turn the tables and in a moment of improvisation, Mike asks for some Bubblelicious and Marcus asks for some Skittles.

Hey T i was re-watching X Men 97 and found something interesting : Episode 1 is a note on note a recap of the entire season 1of animated series reminded us about the sentinels , Trask and Gyreck and they where the final boss in season 1 Episode 2 reminds us that also in season 1 , Magneto was a bad guy but was reabilitated. Episode 3 is a note to note recap of season 2 , but also it was in season 3 Jean was in fact Madeline because of her long hair instead of her pony tail Episode 4 reminded us about Jubilee s contribution like stopping Jougernaught , helping ice man and so much more Episode 5 reminded us of Master Mold head and how even after the day was saved they still lost one member ( Morph quit but in this case , Gabmbit dead ) Episode 6 is a direct continuation about Charles fate reminded us that Lilandra took him to heal him. It was a strategic mistake for him to return this soon. Why not j@rk us off a bit with an amnesiac Charles but they made it seem like : I know what this is i know how to fix it and all he got was cold and indifference plus Xavier was wrong ! Episode 7 should have skipped Gambit Funeral because seems like we where pushed into another episode and Cable should have returned soon for exposition. Episode 8 is a complete 180 reverse of One man s worth because Bastion now is more important to the future. If Cable is not lying , why not take Bastion future ? Episode 9 put Bastion on hold just to clarify the outcome of Magneto ruling the Earth in season 5. Never Again ! You cant make me change my mind ! Episode 10 Everybody dies ! Except for humanity.

There is a 4th one ? Well, at least its not a spinoff created by his wife with 2 "Strong Diverse Female Characters" showing how much better they are or something like that. Can you even imagine how that would go ? 😂😂😂

Am I the only one getting a serious case of FRANCHISE FATIGUE with Hollywood at the moment? It's one thing to have one or two sequels for action films but now everything is a franchise... and it's getting dull and boring. The last few John Wick movies were even rather forgettable, higher body counts but they're trying to replace the plot with action, action, action. I'm just sick of it all. Fast and the furious, 10 of those crap films. Marvel / DC pumping out content instead of movies, thankfully there's not so many of them this year. Lack of creativity and imagination will kill Hollywood. Quote me on that. Like and subscribe.

They are too old now sad Martin couldn't stay healthy to finish out the series earlier. Was a okay movie actually liked the younger guys doing action scenes.

Bad Boys is becoming like Fast and Furious

I was disappointed in most of Martin's comedy in this movie. I want to believe that it was the fault of the writing rather than his own doing. Martin's best moment was his character's "cop's intuition" during the helicopter scene.

Its leading the box office and its better than the last which i actually didn’t care for that much, never was a fan of Smith always came for Lawrence so there was nothing he did or didn’t do in his personal life that i liked anyway…i liked his movies but smith as a person always seemed like a sell out to me…so sense the 90’s i always separated the art from the artist…we use to do that alot in the 80’s and 90’s….people as far as the box office of this film seems like there learning the technique….these movie still were at there peak when “Michael Bay” Directed them, the first 2 films…the 3rd brought in alot of modern bs to me, which convoluted the times these movies were made, and this current one came back to form bringing it back or atleast closer to what Bay set out for in the first two films…it’s not as good as Bays but its alot closer as i said

Really good new film review, Thorias. of Bad Boys 4. I didn't mind the previous three films. especially the second one, which is my favourite in the franchise. but I will give this a pass. I think all four Lethal Weapon films are much better then the Bad Boys films. :)

I am just going to skip this one. I went to the last one and it was such a disappointment that this one can’t be better. This new age rehashing of old franchises needs to stop. I mean do we even have any younger stars that we can do films with? Glen Powell is the only one that I can think of.

Sorry you are definitely in the minority I agree with the product placement with the Skittles but other than that this movie was amazing is great just for the Reggie scene alone please don't let this stop you from seeing Bad Boys

BB3 was a boring nagging mess of a movie. You are lucky not to have seen it.

So far, $21.6 million. I don't think this will do more than $80 million. And these two leads are approaching 60 years of age. The teens they need to want to see this will look at these two and ask why they are watching old people in an action movie. Hope they don't break a hip.

The first movie was great second was ok. But now i don't even want to see it.

Na at least Bad Boys is trying new things with the plot, characters & camera work If any franchise is "running on fumes" both creatively & box office wise it's the Mission impossible franchise. AN judging by the alleged $400 million they're stupidly dumping into the next movie They will be following last years flop with an even bigger flop as even less ppl will go out to see part 8 of Tom cruise running, doing a stunt & his gov turning on him. YET AGAIN!
